I always rewrite them...I was going to destroy them once and started thinking I might need them to defeat the reapers in ME3 and that destroying them would weaken the size of their troops so I rewrote them again.

I'm going with my canon paragon adept Shepard first...all my Sheps are faithful to Kaidan...Whether or not I might do one later that moves on so as to see Kaidan jealous will probably depend on the gameplay...I just replayed ME2 twice and it's such a chore without having your LI in the game but with all the mining added to it, it makes the game a bit boring after a while. Me1 was a lot more fun to replay at least for me. Might just stick with my faithful playthroughs and watch the rest on youtube...after Horizon I'm kinda burned out on all the drama with Shenko...I prefer romance and light hearted fun...hope they have a lot of humor in this one.

After ME3, IGN and everyone else will have to change their opinions of the VS. Kaidan will be so badass he'll be at the top of everyone's list. *wishful thinking*

Hey, does anyone know if Raphael Sbarge is going to be in this week's episode of Once Upon a Time? I'm super excited for it anyways, but I'll be grumpy if I'm expecting an appearance and he doesn't show.

Since the DA2 demo was both I think we have a shot but it's still a different development team so it could go either way. I would think if they still plan to do a femshep trailer that we have a better chance as well...would be kinda pointless at least in my opinion to do a trailer for Femshep and then not give people who saw it the chance to play her in the demo...but who really knows what Bioware will do...right now I'd settle for a demo release date.

Since the demo will have a multiplayer portion, it would be pretty boring if everyone was forced to play Default Male Shepard. I don't know if character creation would be in it, but I don't see why they would let players have different avatars for multiplayer and then not allow us to play even a default version of FemShep in the single player part.

Not that I have much confidence that Kaidan will be in, either way. I just don't think it's unrealistic to expect playable FemShep in the demo.

I wish I could listen to these audio blogs at work. Maybe I'll check it out at lunch today, it was sad having to wait all day to hear the first part.

TZ, the ME2 demo featured both Sheploo and Jane and, if I'm not mistaken, even allowed us to create our own. Realistically speaking, the ME3 demo should follow suit; and frankly, there's no reason to believe that it won't.

Agreed, although that demo did come out after the game was already in stores, right?  I can see limited choices (like a lack of character creation) because it's still being worked on, but I don't see why defaults of either gender wouldn't be possible to play.

My only worry is that the demo will contain more spoilers in files.  But that can't be helped, I guess.

Yeah, it did come out a while after the game's launch (I think it was meant to promote the PS3 version, but was later released on 360 and PC). Even if they can't include more options yet, the defaults, at the very least, should both be there to choose from. Otherwise it wouldn't be a very successful demo.

My biggest fear is that you won't be able to see Kaidan in the demo. Which would really suck for us Kaidan fans and then you would pretty much realize that the only advertising that Kaidan got was from Raphael Sbarge. Maybe we got a couple of shots of his armor but we couldn't even buy anything of Kaidan at BW stores. In the long run Kaidan up until now has had the least amount of advertisment.

I wouldn't say he's had "the least" exposure... Some characters have not even been confirmed as squadmates for ME3. Sure, we didn't get nearly as much as Garrus or Liara, but we got Kaidan on the poster with Sheploo and Liara, the armour shots, and now an actual line. Thane, Miranda or Legion fans got squat. Sure, there's definitely some Kaidan merchandise missing from the BW store, but I would rather get screenshots and such than a couple of T-shirts.

Actually I take that back your right. I wasn't thinking about some of the ME2 characters. Most ME2 characters got shafted in ME3 and I hope that at least at the end of the game they are allowed to spend time with them. Kinda like you did when you could call your ME2 LI up to your cabin. I do feel sorry for them because Thane is the only other character I have a soft spot for.

Personally, I kinda hope there will be some sort of import feature working so I can see what my Shepards would look like/edit them.

Legion was also in a trailer, but it was really short.

I think we all would like to see our favorite character shine in the spotlight for just a moment and I really wish it would happen.  I was really hoping this time around they would be a little more fair, but I guess it was to much to expect.  It would just be nice to get a sneak peek of him in action and at this point even a screenshot would be wonderful.

Kaidan more or less was in "Normandy" clip by Miracle of Sound. I was very, very surprised.

And about Mr. Sbarge being the only advertising Kaidan gets - I won't complain, it's freaking awesome advertising. Really, his positive impression on Kaidan's role in ME3 is the only thing that keeps my preorder active And, my little personal VS-supremachistic theory says that if VS was shown in recent weapons promotion, more people will discuss sexualization of women in video games (in case of Ashley was shown) / just plain squee over new looks and armor (in case of Kaidan shown) than actually discuss guns
