When mShep meets Kaidan on Horizon, they seem to be approximately the same height.

Horizon was the first time he saw her in over two years. By all rights Shepard shouldn't be able to even be there. She died remember. So when the lost love returns when she is suposed to be dead... What would you think? 
A) She's a clone
She never died and had been liying and hidding from every one.
C) What is C? Because returning from the dead would not struck your mind as possible when every one thought it to be impossible.

So what would have been realistic and the right thing to do for Kaidan? Should he think that this happens all the time and that there is nothing odd with it. Should he by magic control all his feelings he has supressed for over two years when the pulled back hard to port? For the love of God! Kaidan could not even know if it really was Shepard.

He was trying to live his life and doing his job and duty. He didn't knew that Shepard had come back from the dead. And the suddenly she was there. Like a ghost and with Cerberus. Just like the rumors TIM had been spreading.

No, no and no. Shepard was the one who fuc*** it up. And while I love my own Shepard, I think she was a bloody idiot at Horizon. A ten year old could figure out better things to say. And do.

For me Kaidan is blameless. Because he reacted as any one would do. Human with feelings.

Omg.. If Jack is 183 then Grunt is really HUGE.. Think I understand why they seemed so scared of him..

I don't blame Kaidan or Shep for Horizion. I blame how it was written. Kaidan expressed how he felt. Shep got derp, derp Hey Kaidan how you've been *facepalm* derp, derp, Not my choice Cerberus brought me back, derp, derp.....on and on.

Hate threads like to say that Kaidan/Ashley aren't true friends because they didn't get on the Normandy.  Had that happened both Kaidan/Ashley would of faced serious charges from SA(System Allience). Dessertion, imprissionment and possible execution for abandoning SA and working with Terrorist Organ. & Shep. Wasn't Kaidan trying so hard to prove that L2 biotics could be trusted and worked very hard to get to where he was? Just to loose it all.

Horizon always felt like an afterthought to me, like someone at Bioware suddenly thought 'oh crap we forgot about the VS' and then just decided to shove anything in, lol.

I really don't blame Kaidan for being suspicious of Shepard or Cerberus, hell most of my Shepards wanted to agree with pretty much everything he said, but all they could do was go and get drunk afterwards, lol.

That's exactly what my Shepards did. It was a great time to discover the Dark Star Lounge on the Citadel

Curious thought- How do you guys think things with Kaidan will be in the beginning of ME3? I think it will depend on how you play your Shepard.

like if your shepard is mostly Paragon I think things will be a little rocky at first but then things would go right

If your a Renegade it will be bad from the start and possbily get worst (like if you cheated)

That's just my opinion on how things (might) go,because when my shepard meets him again I don't want things to be bad between them (Laura is mostly a Paragon) so hopefully things will only be a little rocky at the start.

I could give you some good answers to those questions but I can't cause I've read the spoilers. However I can say without spoilers.....

How will Kaidan be? Cordial/friendly, some tension and a bit awkward wether paragon or renegade only because they haven't seen one another for some time. Would be like you had a huge fight with your lover and then 6 to 8 months later you run into one another.

I definately think things can get more rocky depending on how you respond to him and cheating definately would make anyone a bit more angry or distant.

After Horizion I went to the Citadel to look for Kaidan then got drunk afterwards like so many people:P I even wrote a note and gave it to Anderson to give to Kaidan.......oh wait that was a fan fic!! Silly me!

concidering that Kaidan not only gets along with renegade Shepard just fine, falls in love with her, AND can actualy be renegaded in ME1?  no, I don't think paragon/renegade alignment will play any role.  it better not.

from what I read from tweets and stuff, apparently, you will be able to set up how your relationship will progress, early on, through reply choices in innitial ME3 conversations.  exactly how that will work, I have no idea.  but I suppose something like:

Kaidan!  so glad to see you again.  friends/lovers?  Alenko, I will work with you if I have to but stay out of my way.  Kaidan.  horizon and your lack of trust hurt me.  I don't know where we could go from here, but things have changed and we are not the same people anymore.

something of that nature.  I'm not a writer, so forgive clumsy dialogue extrapolation.

First, I have not read the spoilers (ignorance is bliss and all that) so my musings are pure uneducated speculation on my part. I'd like to think that it's based on how you play your Shepard but not decided upon paragon and renegade scores so much as on the dialogue options you choose. After all, paragons can move on with another or have a fling in ME2 just as easily as renegades and I think there could be renegade Sheps that  may have an easier time repairing the relationship than a paragon... I don't think that last bit is saying what I want it to but I'm rubbish at explaining things. Basically, I want Kaidan's demeanor to be a reaction to how my Shepard treats him, not a reflection of something so vague as her paragon/renegade score.
