So I made a Renegade Shep and took her to 60 in ME1 (3 playthroughs) now i'm playing ME2 and just finished the Collector Ship Mission. I hate that damn Preatorian fight in that ship, I died at lease 5 times before beating it. I beat ME2 on insane, but those damn thing always kick my butt, doesn't matter what difficulty, so I really don't want to do those missions. But I kinda have to if I want to finish the game (or see Kaidan ;))

Also any kind of Hammerhead missions. I beat them once and now I usually just leave them and don't do them at all, except Overlord. In ME1 the only part I really hated was the room filled with Rachni that you had to run through after setting of the neutron purge, I died so many times on Insane in that room that I just ragequit and didn't touch the game for a week

I was wondering, are there any missions in ME1 &2 that you dont like doing?

Why does it take everyone so many playthroughs to hit level 60??  With both DLCs, I hit level 58 in one go. On my current character, I'm headed for Ilos, having done every side mission/planet and all DLC (Shepard must have her apartment!), and my character is sitting at level 54. If I did one more playthrough with her I would have level 60 long before the end of the game, which would equal only 2 times through to hit the level cap.

Does the difficulty setting affect the amount of XP you get? *shrug*  I know I gain a TON of levels with the Pinnacle Station DLC. Maybe that makes a difference? :wizard:

I probably could have hit 60 in two games if I wouldn't have been so lazy in my second playthrough and just done more side quests, but after getting the locker scene it is always very hard for me not to head to Ilos, so I get the romance scene  Which makes no sense, thinking about it now, I was 59 after Virmire and heading to the Citadel and I still had a lot of side quest left. I have weird logic

I also have all the DLC's but I have no desire to play Pinnacle Station, it's pretty boring imo.

Even without the dlc's you can hit level 60 in ME1 in 2 playthroughs. But I have to admit that I do every single little thing there is to do to the point where I made mud maps for all the planets detailing where minerals, maws, and other things of interest are, lmao.

Hmm, missions I don't like doing :
ME1 - I find running back and forth on the citadel when you first go there a pain (counting keepers, etc), and I'm really not that rapt in Pinnacle Station.
ME2 - Garrus' recruitment mission when you have to run around closing the shutters annoys me, and I find Thane's and Samara's loyalty missions boring.

I understand that I can hit 60 in 2 playthroughs, seeing as I'm usually 50 something after my first playthrough. I just rush through the second playthrough and seeing as I can't keep playing after I beat Saren, I had to start a new one to hit 60. I also hit 60 after Noveria, which was the second planet I went to. I cursed myself for rushing the second and not doing more sidequests. Now I'm pretty tired of ME1 cause I played it 3 times, back to back, heh.

Ive done wayyy more than 3 playthroughs of ME 1 but I think the best is the one im on now because im focusing on everything. I must say I was disappointed when Kaiden showed up as a semi ass hole in ME2 but I could see his reasoning for it. And I still support him 100% I hope ME 3 he doesnt have as much hate through the whole game. I know Femsheps who romanced him got a love letter after meeting him in ME2 soo yeah

I have 3 FemSheps, but I only took my Renegade to 60, which took 3 playthroughs back to back, that why I'm sick of it right now.

I have four femsheps that I've taken through ME1 (currently finishing up #4) and I've never gotten a single one to level 60. I understand there are some import bonuses, but it just wasn't worth it to me. Dear Lord, but I had forgotten how very much I hate scaling mountains in the Mako....

They really did improve lots of stuff in ME2 combat/gameplay-wise. Is anyone else really looking forward to playing an ME2 (and better) type of game WITH KAIDAN?! :o I really am incredibly excited about that aspect. I just hope they didn't strip too many of his lovely powers away.

Honestly, I took my Renegade to 60 only to get the Xbox achievement, hehe. I always try to get them all for games I really like.

I'm totally psyched for ME3 and seeing Kaidan again, my husband thinks I'm crazy because I eat up every tiny bit of info and I think he might be getting a tad jealous of Mr. Sbarge as I always squee like a little Fangirl when I see a new Audioblog up. His response is usually rolling his eyes or saying "Ah, I see Sbargo has something to say again."

(Sbargo = his nickname for Mr. Sbarge :bandit:)

He is a mean man, my husband, lol

If anyone is interested enough to read it.

It usually takes that many times if you kill Thresher Maws / Colossi in Mako. DLC also help, as I see - with my totally vanilla new copy of ME1 I've killed every single damed geth in every single lvl 2 hazard planet on foot and still got my 56 only after killing Sare-husk. Well, I've missed some XP in situations "use persuasion and get para/rene points or fight and get XP", so maybe I'd be halfway to lvl 57.

About "Kaidan in ME2-style mechanics" - oh yes. Especially if he'd keep Neural Shock to turn this into Neural Shock Wave. And will get GPS since he's standing with shotgun on our dear only screenshot. Yes, yes :)

I have played through ME1 six times and only got close to hitting level 50 on one character. The more I play, the more I find things that I had missed in previous playthroughs :pinched:

The only thing that helps me play through it now (since I'm getting ready for ME3) is talking to Kaidan between the main missions so I'm thinking about doing playthrough 2 for my Kaidan-romanced Shep to hit 50 and maybe 60 if I'm lucky and see the romance one more time. ;)

Well I'm up to lvl 58 now and I'm only 1/4 done with ME1 so I'm hopeful. Tonight the Mako and I had an adventure. I flipped off a mtn and spun in the air 3 times and landed perfectly on the ground.

Mako + Gravity + Pysics = mass confusion:lol:

Things I hate as far as side missions: Scanning the keepers drives me nuts cause I'm always missing that one. I agree that the Citadel missions drive me crazy. Rachni scare the hell out of me. So do thresher maws cause they suddenly show up and I go oh yea this is one of the areas.

ME2: Garrus loyal mission when he steps out in front of the heavy mechs and dies every damn time I play. I put him behind cover and he still moves in front of them. Also the side mission where it's all foggy and you can't see anywhere your going. I end up back tracking to find my lost team. Do you know which one I'm talking about?

It's been so quiet lately!

Weather anomaly, about geth, or Blood Pack with beacons and klixen. Both are foggy. With geth I follow Ashley's advise and shoot every suspicious light source - eventually that's geth heads :)

About Mako: I'd wish squadmates comment on Shepard's driving skills ;-P

I think I know which one you talking about. The one where you fight the Klixen things and have to turn on that laser stuff? I might get 2 missions mixed up here, heh

The one with all the haywire mechs?  I hate that one!

I started a NG+ in ME1, but I got distracted and started a new Shep instead.  I think I might only have time for 1 more run through by March.  It's getting close....

Yep the Blood Pack one with the Beacons and Klixen also the weather anomaly...forgot about that one. I wish squadmates would of commented on driving skills at least it would be more interesting. Hear mass screaming as you triple flip off a mnt.

There really should've been a letter to non-romances Sheps as well  But my Shep loves Kai anyway and that will never change :D

New Game Informer has a hands-on article form the first 6 hours of the game. You can read about it here. There are BIG Kaidan spoilers in it, so don't say I didn't warn you. In short, it matches the leak. Many people avoided it, but since now some of the info is being revealed by BW themselves maybe some will want to read it. Again, big spoilers so watch out! :)

Yikes, I've yet to be spoiled so I'm going to keep holding out... We will see how long I last!
Also, this may have been mentioned, but have people listened to the new bioware pulse on voice acting?? They play a Kaidan line!! Just one, but at least it's something! Haha Sorry if this has already been discussed!!

If you checked the leak, then there's nothing you wouldn't know. But I know some people don't want spoilers unless it's released by BW themselves so if they didn't check the leak, the stuff in Game Informer will be new to them :)
