*rocking back and forward* must not read spoilers. I really followed ME2 so closely to the point where nothing surprised me in that game, kind of vaguely knew everything that was going to happen... But that's partly on bioware because of the sheer amount of marketing they did for it. But this Kaidan stuff, I really want to read it How spoilerific is it?

Quite spoilerific, as it tells you exactly what plot-related events happen regarding Kaidan during the first mission off of Earth. If you want to maintain the emotional punch, don't read the article.

In the Game Informer thread? Well, it has rather big spoilers, and not just Kaidan but for general plot as well. It doesn't cover mid/late-game spoilers (neither for the general plot or Kaidan) but it's still quite a lot I think. Guess everyone has to make its own decision

EDIT: Ohh wait, I thought you were leaving because you didn't want spoilers, not because you posted one. But urhm, I don't really think the fact you can take LIs for dinner is a "bad" spoiler It's more of a 'feature' than story spoiler, you didn't say anything more so don't leave

BTW, BioWare usually announces / releases something on Tuesdays, right? There isn't many of them left in January - today, 17th, 24th and 31st. If info about demo would be given 31st, I'd be strongly impressed by someone's evilness, though. Plus, it may be that demo itself will be released in January as well, so one more Tuesday is taken.

Okay, as of today I am limiting myself to this thread and the "Twitter" thread in the General forum - and I'm going to both of them via bookmarks, so no chance of spoiler thread titles.  When the demo comes out, I'll likely be leaving completely until I've beat the game.

I will totally miss the comraderie of hanging out with other people as excited and anxious for ME3 as I am, but the risk of further spoilers is just too great.  I don't want to reduce the emotional punch of playing the game, of being shocked, moved, distraught, elated!

Thanks for this!   I've spent the morning reading through everything Kaidan-related instead of working, lol.

EDIT: Okay, maybe I shouldn't have read this. Now I'm really anxious for it to be March already. Like really anxious. Damn it, I was doing so good, trying to distract myself by re-playing ME1 and 2, throwing in Assassin's Creed just to keep my mind off of ME for a little while. Grrr!! They better have some info on the demo soon or I'll go crazy!

I'm pretty sure when that announcement was made, we were getting info regarding demo and early mp access in late November.  I'm not holding my breath for the January release date.  The DA2 demo came out closer to
the release date anyways.  I'm guessing Feb 14 for demo.  At least Shep will get to spend v-day w/Kaidan?

Gracyn - good call on the bookmarks.  Those are the only 2 threads I'm following right now, but the spoilerific titles are like landmines out there.  And there's the odd spoiler thread masquerading as something inoccuous and fluffy that catches my attention only to burn my retinas 20 seconds later.

i'm trying to contain myself. spoilers are only good for whetting one's appetite, and then spoil the game itself. If I need ME 1 2 or 3 I come here instead, or play the game.

I read the Kaidan spoilers from the GI article, but nothing else, specially the leak.

In short, I just wanted to make sure Kaidan would get an important role in 3 so I don't need to live another Horizon, and from now on I'll avoid every kind of spoiler out there, and stick to the Kaidan/Twitter threads, and after the game releases (I'll only receive it several days after launch), I'll hide myself far, far away from the internet

Perhaps! Uh, there's a lil boutique on the Citadel and Shep can actually pick out a lil dress, or outfit she likes. And maybe even! the Citadel has a charming day spa where Shep can go and get a pedi/manicure. A shoe shop? Some earrings?

Just in case, you know,

oooohhhh...that's a nice dream. lol

But I do really hope Shep can pick out some kinda special occasion outfit.

Besides the Kasumi dress. That FShep has worn twice already.

I would like something fresh and different for....uh....any new special occasions...

HA!  You know it really was difficult to find outfits that were appropriate for non-Cerberus occaisons in ME2, unless you wanted to dress like a miner.  So that dress probably got more wear than it should around the galaxy.  It really is time for a new outfit.

I have to admit I would totally love to go shopping in ME3 for something besides armor upgrades and combat boots.  Not that they don't come in handy, but you need something for those evenings when you aren't fighting Reapers.  I'm hoping there's a liquor store too.  One that carries something besides, Blue, Red and Green.  You know, I never did figure out where Shep was hiding that bottle (vial? cannister?) of wine she had with Liara.

Liquor store? Hm, the only decent one I remember was Matriarch Aethyta. It would be good to have her around Especially remembering side effect of her drinks and the fact that not all custom femShep are success in area of beauty
