I'm a little curious about something. I know this has been mentioned before, but how does everyone roleplay their Shepard in regards to Kaidan?

Only two of my Sheps have been with Kaidan- my Sentinel, Kyrah (my favorite Shep, also), and Nikita, my Vanguard. I've only really fleshed out Kyrah and Kaidan's relationship, so here's a wall of text for you all! :3
Kyrah's an Earthborn. As such, she's used xenophobia and people only being out for themselves, although she's definitely not wired that way AT ALL. When she met Kaidan, she saw a man who was not only kind, respectful, and intelligent, but also a man who saw few differences between aliens and humans (his "saints and sinners" quote during the Vyrnnus conversation). She also was impressed with his biotic power, and his comfort in using it, as she was not comfortable at ALL with hers (in my head, she only received biotic powers during Akuze, where I RP her as being picked up by Cerberus along with Toombs, and experimented on to create a supersoldier- although she didn't know it was Cerberus at the time). Kaidan helps Kyrah understand her biotic power, which she appreciates, but it is only after Ash's death that the two become close. I also RP that they return to the Citadel to have Ash's funeral, and afterwards, Kyrah gets ******-drunk, and Kaidan comes to her rescue. He takes her back to her hotel room, and she begs him to stay because she doesn't want to be alone with her thoughts. He complies, and in the morning there is some initial confusion, but it is here where they have a conversation about Kyrah's experience with death, and they become closer. Things are awkward for a while, until Shep gets a message about Ontarom, where Cerberus' involvement in Akuze and Shepard's torture are revealed to Kaidan and Garrus. Liara also knows about it, since they've mind-melded, but nobody else knows, apart from a few higher-ups in the Alliance, like Anderson and Hackett. Kyrah's always tried to hide what happened on Akuze, because people tend to think she's crazy, but all the Normandy crew is accepting, and doesn't think of her any different- which Kyrah appreciates, and gets a soft spot for Kaidan, especially. She never flirts with him directly, not only because of the chain of command thing, but also because she doesn't want to let herself fall for anyone, because her past has taught her that fond feelings only open you up to hurt in the end. But after the Normandy is locked down, and she realizes the gravity of the Saren situation, she allows herself to give in to what she feels, and her and Kaidan become a couple after the events of ME1, and until her death.
After she dies, Kaidan attends Kyrah's funeral, but leaves halfway through, because he gets too emotional, and can't show it because of the secret nature of his relationship with Shep. He also hacks Kyrah's bank account, drains it, and sets up the Shepard Scholarship, in a way to remember her and her efforts to help children like her. He grieves for a long time, but is urged by his friends to get over it. And then he begins to hear about Shepard's reappearance. He doesn't believe the reports, but after Shep visits Anderson, he has to. Understandably, he is hurt and pissed off that she hadn't tried to contact him (it's not like she hadn't tried, Miranda/EDI were just blocking her messages). He tries sending her a message (which is also blocked by Miranda). And then Horizon. His initially feelings are disbelief that she was there- he thought he was just seeing things because he expended himself protecting himself and the other colonists from the Collectors)- hence the hug, to make sure she was tangible. And then he realizes that she really IS there, and that she hadn't tried to contact him/reply to his message, and he gets angry. And THEN he sees Garrus there- why would she contact Garrus before him? Was there something happening there? And THEN he sees the insignia on Jacob's costume, and realizes she's with Cerberus, and avowed enemy of the Alliance and of Kyrah. And we all know how that conversation goes. After Horizon, Kyrah was extremely hurt, and didn't understand Kaidan's extreme anger towards her, and why he wouldn't listen to her. She then becomes angry with him that he would still think, after everything he knows about her past with Cerberus, that she would even entertain the notion of joining Cerberus. Garrus becomes her only confidant, especially because she appreciates his loyalty, and they eventually become a couple. Obviously, she and Kaidan will have a lot to talk about in ME3, but I'm pretty sure Kyrah's gonna stay with Garrus.
