Yea, trust me, my dad made living as a salesman/businessman. If he told his customers, "Oh, it'll be there soon" after promising something, I'm sure they would be like, "Um yeah, no," leave, and tell other people about what awful service my dad has.
Unfortunately, Bioware has a bit of monopoly on Mass Effect, so we're kind of stuck.
But Kaidan screens would be great. And releasing that femshep trailer they promised like SIX months ago would be great, too.
There's a slight difference between sales and marketing. In sales, you're held accountable. Marketers promise the sun, moon, and stars, and say they will fulfill even the most demanding customers' needs. And gamers are very demanding.

Meanwhile, everyone else has to deal with said promise, either busting arse fulfilling it, or kissing arse as they're informing the customer they can't fulfill. In BW's situation, they are promising awesomeness, while dealing with deadlines and an impatient fanbase. Not to mention the leak and fan reaction, which IMO is still influencing them.
I know it's terrible to say "be patient', and fans are certainly at their limits. But, it's only a few months away. We should enjoy the anticipation, savor it. We'll see a long-lost favorite after so many years away, why rush?
