about the demo. they did say there will be other ways to get early acess, some of them free (will probably involve facebook or something) at the very least, people who preordered ME3 shoudl be getting early demo access.

-pokes the Kaidan mp group- I had been waiting around for news on the demo before I got Gold. Now that it's covered I've sent the request.

video was removed. Is the demo release date info from a valid source? Cause there was another article that said the info would be released tomorrow. Plus that still makes no sense because KOA is released on the 7th. So how can you get you cross promo items early to use when you first play the game? Someone is not thinking or the info is not correct.

Edit: Since getting off topic have to mention Kaidan and say even if they release the demo earlier than the 14th of Feb. You can still play with Kaidan on Valentine's Day. Since I know once the demo is released I will probably play it over and over again til March.

Eh, I pretty much play pure paragon, and my husband is threatening to yell out  neutral/renegade responses during my playthrough to be "funny."  So consider yourself lucky you are without a Kinect.

Although I do sympathize with your plight, and play paragon myself, that is, objectively, kindof funny.

Are we really surprised at how many people spell Kaidan's name wrong? Most of the people who have reviewed any of the ME games aren't Kaidan fans so you shouldn't let it get to you. The person who wrote the article isn't the first and he won't be the last. You just kinda have to ignore ignorance. Just be happy that you know how to spell it and that the best you can do is educate the uneducated. Maybe write a letter to GameInformer telling them of their mistake. They usually correct themselves when informed of their misinformation. Now I would be more upset if it was someone who actually worked on the game. At least we got some info on Kaidan from the author of the article and it wasn't one of those people who always say " I killed Kaidan, he sucked". Which of course we all know is in no way shape or form true.

If anyone is playing on a 360 and haven't put their gamer tags up on the Kaidan MP group, I hope you do so. I was going to add all the XBox Kaidan fans to my list in the next couple of days, and see if we shouldn't organize something so we have a greater chance of playing with each other, and so that no one gets left out for living in an unpopular time zone. I live on the east coast, so I am awake when both people in the UK are available and my friends in Cali have time to play.  I don't know if we have any Aussie Kaidan fans, but those are the ones I am worried about. I'll send out a PM about MP later this week.

@sesheta Nobody is ever too old or uncool to play MP. It's for fun anyway, and then you might regret  missing out. You should play multiplayer. Then if you don't like it, don't play anymore. At least try it.

I am also too old and uncool to play MP, but it will not stop me.  ME3 will be my first MP experience, proving I have no business being there, but I have dutifully signed up for the Kaidanites (not kaidanologists) MP group.  I'll be on xbox, but I'll feel better having you out there on pc for moral support.  Besides, everyone here is totally cool.  We can all not contribute in a meaningful way together.  And who knows, maybe we'll even have a good time, and complete a few missions.  After all, the galaxy's not gonna save itself.

<facepalm> Okay, well then, i'm uncool, not very smart, and also uncoordinated since you brought it up.*

I am blissfully sticking my fingers in my ears regarding any spoilers from the leaked beta.  It was an early draft, someone could've mistranslated it from Russian (mineralica, back me up on this), and furthermore, I will have more Kaidan in my life starting March 6.

Hope the demo's everything you want.

*I also might have had a bottle of wine to drink in celebration of completion of dreaded test I've been studying for all week, which has also allowed me to hang around here at all times of day.  Starting tomorrow, I may be a bit scarce.  Stupid work.

So i played the KoA demo, not too bad, reminds me a bit of fable, just the way they all look! Im CONSIDERING getting it down the road but not for the price its at now... not inlove with it that much, i just wait my ME3.. so is anyone gonna wear the armor you get from KoA? I may just use the gun, i still like to keep my femsheps face open, and keep her looking feminine! I do hope your right and the demo is coming out sooner than i think.. so if i think its coming out Friday that means it will come out tomorrow right? lol

I like the way you think!  Hope it works.  (not holding my breath)

Also, KoA does look a bit like Fable.
I enjoyed the demo a lot, but I don't really love spending all my time off adventuring alone.  It's nice that you can recruit helpers for certain missions, but do you think it'll ever give you the oportunity to make deeper connections/recruit followers?  Probably not, huh?  Guess I'll be picking it up used from Gamestop in a couple of months.

as far as spelling Kaidan's name wrong.. I just skimmed through a piece of fan fiction, in kaidan fanclub on DA no less... that spelled it Kaiden. I think I give up.

<--is waiting for the timer in KoA to expire so that I could get that gun already.. didn't really like the game at all. granted bugs and initial inability to play it at all had a lot to do with it (ATI video cards >_> ), but it was just... meh.

P.S.  I have a husband but concidering how we both feel about valentine's day?  we'd probably both be gaming, side by side

I think we need more so-called "old" people on multiplayer games! I'm extremely sick of playing with 12 year old boys who think they're awesome, it'll be a nice change of pace to play with fellow, mature (most of the time ) Kaidanites.

And for the record, I don't think you're a better player at a younger age, because I think I'm the youngest here and I'm awful at multiplayer games

That's exactly the word I used after I finished playing that demo....MEH. I actually had a few bugs too, which makes me even more wary after Skyrim.

After 18 years, hubby and I really don't give a rip about Valentine's Day either. It's just like any other day. Although he does usually give me chocolate, but I can eat it while playing the ME3 demo.

I haven't had a chance to play it yet because I can't connect to the EA servers and I figure there's no point if I can't get the ME3 DLC content.
