I think it's only 3 days earlier, so I'm not going to bother.

I just hope we can see Kaidan in the demo, if not i'll just be editing Sheps so I can get codes ready for the real game.

The bad part about demo is that ME2 Shepards can't be imported. I was hoping to see if different status of relationships in ME1 & 2 affects meeting dialogue.

oh where did you hear this?? thats odd you couldnt do that with the other demos.. that does kinda make sense though.. but after the demo comes out it will be less than a month till ME3 so its not sooo bad i guess

as old as i feel in my opinion! My dad always complains about his birthday and i always tell him, "this day isnt to whine about how old you are, if it was it would be called oldday, its to celebrate the day you were born cause you changed so many peoples lives!" So your only as old as you feel... hope your talking about age, otherwise i feel stupid lol!

nah i think they will give us the option to play femshep.. just not the one we made.. its gonna be default characters or you customize your own, im sure the customize will be there for new players.. ill just use default FemShep though!

The demo does not support save importing and does not create a save game for the full version of Mass Effect 3.

Edit: yep, customizable characters, femShep and all 6 classes confirmed.

maybe you guys can help me out, I am not very good at video cards and tell if the game will work or not with the one i have so, I have an Nivida GeForce 8800M GTX will the game work for me or am i screwed.

Glad to see we finally got a demo date, woo! But, Valentine's Day, really? My husband is a gamer, but I don't think he'll appreciate me leaving him for Kaidan that day (really hoping Kaidan will be making an appearance), lol.

I suck at mp games...that's why I added everyone from the xbox mp Kaidan group to my account, lol. I need the help! I've tried games like COD and Battlefield, but I'm just too slow and then I get frustrated when I keep getting killed. Grr! The only other coop mp game I play is L4D1 and 2, and I'm okay at that. Oh, speaking of Kaidan MP group, I'm on U.S. central time so I'm kinda in between everyone which sucks in a way. I have a friend that lives in England, and it's hard trying to coordinate playing times.

My brothers have Battlefield 3 so I'll be using their gamertag to play the early access to mp instead of my own. But I'll be on my gamertag once it comes out for everyone else on the 17th!

There'll most likely be a choices-generator at the beginning so you can also pick your VS

I'm not very good at mobile video cards, but 8600 GT ran ME2 just fine before being replaced because of old age. 8800 GTX is supposed to be better than 8600 GT, so it definitely will ran ME3 at least on minimal settings.

Edit: recommended system requirements for demo (not minimal, recommended) say "GeForce 9800 GT", which is the same old 8800 GT. 8800 GTX is definitely better than 8800 GT, so it will work fine. Going technically, ME3 requires pixel shaders ver. 3 or higher (your card has ver. 4) and 256 MB vRAM on minimal / 512 MB on recommended settings - your card has 512. 8800M GTX is fine card, as I see

So it's 14th if you have BF3 and 17th if not?

I love fps games and BF3 is gorgeous, but it's very hard to stay alive. I found it really helped when I teamed up with friends and we had headsets on so we could chat during the missions and better coordinate our attacks. And so we could all laugh at our various deaths But it does help if you can just say "hey, look out for the sniper on the corner building on the other side of the bridge".

Kaidanites of all ages will rock the MP I'm sure. Never too old to play, you just earn the right to moan about the young kids

 IGN ME3 Kinect features Video It's impressed me somewhat, I might dust off the Kinect now and give it ago. The demo will also have the Kinect features as well. However, the majority of them just seem pointless, saying 'Open' to open doors seems a little excessive. Why on earth would you walk up to doors and have to stand infront of it to open the door when you can just press A lol...I like how you can change out shepard's weapons by saying the name of it. But the powers and stuff like that seem to have a delay to them, where pressing a button would just be so much more easier.

Voice activated doors - makes me think of Airplane 2, Bill Shatner walking up to doors going "Psshhh pssshhh"

They still make not mention of whether Kinect for PC will support voice commands - I could state my case for needing a Kinect for PC as a business expense if it did...

The best use for Kinect I've heard so far belongs to Karin Weekes (or I think it was her). "Garrus, love me, love me!".

Squadmates responding to Shepard's commands is fun as well. Looking forward to squadmates "misheard" stuff... and hope "falcon punch!" working as "interrupt" stays in game.

I like being able to issue commands to squadmates. Particularly the cover me option. But I don't think I'll be using it to direct Shepard. That's just... weird to me. It's faster if I use the wheels (plus I need the pause in game play to line up my headshots!) and I'm thinking it might throw me off to say a dialog option and then have Shep say something different.

Oh, "Falcon Punch" for Renegade interrupt... Man, I really hope that works. I will certainly be trying it. 

I am also looking forward to stealthy Shep.

I was going to say something about Kaidan and now that video has made me forget what it was. Oh! Right! They say your squad can be equipped with any weapon in ME3 that Shep can equip. Has anyone heard anything about the armor. The Reckoning Knight armor might be too bulky for my femShep, but I'm thinking it would look downright sexah on Kaidan.

Just played the KOA demo so got my armour, not sure I got the gun as I didnt want to play for 45mins, liked it, def going to get it but when its cheap.

That'd be awesome if you can equip the armour on others. Sir Kaidan Alenko, knight of the sexy table.

You don't actually have to play for 45 minutes...I played for 20 minutes after the opening section and then just left my xbox running and watched part of some movie on HBO while I was waiting. Forty-five minutes later, I clicked back over, and it said I had completed the demo and the gun is unlocked on my account.
