@Bekkael, I love the colors of Rene Shepard!

My Shepards tend to look the same in every playthrough. I find a preset that I like (only one or two in ME and ME2), then find a mouth, nose and eyes that I like and then I tend to use them a lot. I usually have the sliders somewhere in the middle so that no facial feature is really extreme (my Shepards tend to look very strange when I do). Too much cut-scene to sit through if you have to redo the way Shepard looks in both previous games. I tend to go with brown or red hair, with pale skin.

I posted a picture of my Shep in a thread with other femshep pictures somewhere around the BSN, but I can't seem to find it.


About Kaidan, I've pretty much liked him since he rushed over to Shep after her having connected with the beacon on Eden Prime. I love that cut scene, I just melted the first time I saw it.

Welcome, Altie! You know, when I first played ME1, I had never played any Bioware games before so I didn't know about the romance. Once I found out, I was a little "meh" about Kaidan. And then I heard him talk. *swoon*

@ Bekka and Trinity: Those are beautiful Shepards! I'll see if I can take a picture of my tester and canon so y'all can see what they look like. Bekka, I'm the same...no matter how many "new" Shepards I make, they always come out looking like each other. It's so funny because I try so hard to make them different, and the end result is always the same.

@ Lady: That dream is too funny! I've only had one ME/Kaidan-related dream but that was a while back. I think I mentioned it here, but in the dream I was trying to get Kaidan and Shep back together, lol.

@Trinity You have a lovely Shepard. I have to take pictures of my tv too, since I play on the xbox. =D It took me forever to get pics of all 7 of my characters!

@Annaka Thank you! Rene Shepard has a special place in my heart, since she acts tough, but often feels uncertain and insecure in her private moments. I absolutely love roleplaying her, and I really have no clue what she'll do in the romance department in ME3, until I actually get her there.

I hear you on favorite presets in CC. I think all my Shepards were created using the only two I liked. Plus, I only use two hairstyles, so that also lends a great deal of similarity. Oh well. I still like my Shepards, even if they are mostly clones of each other lulz.

Regarding first impressions of Kaidan in ME1: He had me at: "Commander." ♥♥♥

Hello Altie, nice to see some fellow europeans here ^^ And i perfectly understand you. I remember my first hours with Kaidan, i was all like, meh-so-you think-you're-the handsome-one-that-i-should-fall-for-i-don't-think-so, but as you all said, all you have to do is just get to know him aaaand you're done, his personality + Amazing Mr. Sbarge doesn't really give you much choice ^^ And so helpless is my faithful paragade barbie

Oh and i've played that KoA demo too and i must say i really enjoyed it. Although the world is too bright and candy for my taste, it was nice to remember how to use daggers or a staff instead of my widow for a change

@Bekkeal and Trinity I love your shepards very pretty! I also end up making some of mine look the same cause well I only like 2 hairstyles so I joke around and call 2 of mine twins.

There is something I don't like about character creator. When you remake your femshep because you don't like how she looks you start over again but you have to sit through the opening of ME2 again!!! Why can't that be skipped? Do you know what I'm talking about? Also I hope they have more variety on the character creator this time. They could of had more options and I hope ME3 will give us more options. I'm glad they are adding in more hairstyles. I hope they give us more eyeshadow, lipstick, blush and skin tones this time.

They keep promising femshep trailer but I'm at the point where I'm not holding my breathe. When it is done I hope the do it well. It will show up 2 days before the release of ME3:P
Still waiting for a screen shot of Kaidan in action or femshep trailer with Kaidan in it. Oh how silly of me that won't happen<_<

Delurks: I remember going through ME1 for the first time when Kaidan said Shep was beautiful. I thought he clearly had bad taste, or had cheated on his eyesight test before joining the Alliance military. The giraffe neck is what always puts me off - thankfully Cerberus fixed that problem.
Maybe if Paige had looked like Trinity I might have agreed with him

i press mute and play a game of solitaire. it helps.
and i recently discovered that the mop-of-curls-on-the-top-of-the-head hairdo is much better than it was in ME1. It's currently my favourite.

Edit: Silverpearl, I know exactly what you mean about ME2! The first day I got it (back in Feb 2011 for PS3, without having played ME1 before) I had to leave right after I watched the intro. So I came back later, had to watch the intro again, got to the character creator, and then I had to leave, again! Third time, came back and restarted, got to the CC, and BAM! The power went out. Finally, an hour later, I was able to create my character, but she came out looking so awful that I just said "Screw it," turned the game off, put it on my shelf, and never touched it again until I bought ME1 and 2 last August for 360.

@Bekkael  Thanks for the compliment, this is where i got the idea of my Femshep but i also changed a lot of things! i highly suggest going out of the normal and looking on youtube, make the character and than edit her the way you want! Shes beautiful to me! so perfect and looks great in all scenes, my boyfriend says shes prettier than any of the characters!

It would be so awesome if we could get a nice picture with all our Shepards standing side my side and it said "We all support Kaidan" That would be awesome!!

Haha, thanks I didn't exactly "take" them, though, as in with a camera/phone. I have a HD PVR, which is basically a box I can hook my consoles up to, then hook it up to my laptop, and I can record things playing on the console in HD. At the moment, I'm in the process of capturing scenes from ME1 and 2 to use for video editing. From there, I then opened the scenes I've recorded in Windows Media Player, pressed the Print Screen button, pasted them into paint, edited them on Photoshop, and voila!
Still doesn't beat the screenshot button of PC users <_< But it's something.

Edit: @Zombie: Yeah, I often get the feeling Liara is the dev's favorite or something... It's not like they're shy about showing us stuff with her!
Maybe it has to do with spoilers, though? There's no possible way Liara won't be on anyone's ME3 saves, so she's kind of a shoo in for non-spoilery info.

And I was actually thinking about this the other day, when did I really start to like Kaidan? It's weird because as I've said I've never played a Bioware game before. So I was playing it like a game like Bioshock or call of duty, expecting everyone around me to die.

When I saved Kaidan of Eden Prime as Female Shepard, it was the most amazing thing in the world to me because I never get to do that in a video game or see it on TV or in a movie. And Kaidan's a strong guy too, so it wasn't cheap. Then afterwards when he smiled at my Shep, it was all over. I started looking up the game online and found that there were romances and I just about died with happiness.

No, that's not my Shep, I just thought the pictures were really nice. I don't remember who posted them first, I think they're from somewhere in the beginning of the thread.

I found one picture of one of my femsheps though. I don't think it's my canon one, but they all look pretty much alike It's a pretty dark picture though, her hair is usually more like light brown.
