Fact of the matter we girl gamers exist and we girl gamers do love mass effect. And a lot love kaidan because of that. But they don't give us near anything. Everything is very male oriented. I just would like something, anything, to know that they do in fact care about this portion of their audience.
Maybe a Cinematic Kaidan trailer

On the comment of female gamers, I work at a video game selling store. There are a few of us. But I do hate the girls who come in acting like they are hot shiz cause they are gamers. I just give them blank looks. Like, really? I work here. You're not THAT special. I also hate the girls who brag about being a girl gamer. Like it's a badge of honor. Usually they suck at gaming and play only one thing.

Has someone seen GTTV? It seems there was no Kaidan.
Yeah, that part was super lame. I'm not surprised, but I'm still disappointed. Seriously, who do I need to bribe to get some Kaidan footage? At least Valentine's day is only 25 days away now.
But, on the other hand... Freddie Prinze, Jr.! This almost makes up for lack of Kaidan.

oh sorry! double post
Looking at photo frame and recalling own attempts in creating normal looking posterized Kaidan (Soviet propaganda poster - like). My favourite character actually doing something good for me through developing photoshopping skills

I hate it when I go into a game shop and the female workers look down at me. The coin lands both ways you know?

Yeah, I hate going into GameStop because I know I'm going to be ignored and/or dismissed, whether the employees are male or female. As someone who worked in retail management in the past, this *really* annoys me. I'm not asking for special treatment, I just don't want to be ignored when I obviously am standing at the counter with an item, ready to be checked out. NO, I am not waiting for a kid or a guy. Ugh.
Anyhow, how bout that Kaidan? I've given up hope that he'll be seen in any promotional material other than maaaaaybe the FemShep trailer and demo. Maybe. At least March isn't looking so far away now.

I'm looking forward to VA trailer which is promised on February. About femShep trailer... I think that if some squadmates will be there, it will be Garrus and Liara again; but honestly, I stopped to care. I'll get Kaidan in March, and this will be glorioussyllogi wrote...

I work in a fashion shop so usually I dress like a hipster, I feel as if I'm being judged cos I dont look 'geeky' enough or I've jumped on the bandwagon.
Just had my share of female game workers being rude or thinking they are better. One time when a cusomter asked where the FFVII advent children movie came in timeline wise with the games and not one of them knew (four female workers). I had to step in.
I mean HELLO I liked Kaidan before anyone else

Geez, you guys have awful Gamestops! All four of the usual employees at my GS (all male) know me by name, and we always have fun and friendly banter about games and stuff. They're all really friendly, and go the extra mile to do nice things for me (such as switching a damaged case out with a new one, analyzing the game discs to find the one in the best condition, etc).
Any word yet on when we'll finally see that FemShep trailer?
Edit: Kaidan Fan, where were you having trouble? Uploading the pic, posting the pic, etc?

I didn't even see where there was an option to upload the image or insert it or anything. So, I didn't even get to try anything, lol.
Also, the people at my gamestop love me as well and are very nice and go out of their way for me. A couple of their guys will practically shove other customers out of the way to help me, LOL! Kidding! Kidding! :innocent:

Long time lurker and geek gamer chic
When March 6 rolls around I'm so going to have a box of tissue on one side of the keyboard and some hard liquor on the other lol. I know i'm bad, but i couldn't help tracking down some of the leaked stuff. And I hoping to maybe at least run into a few of you in the multiplayer.
As far as Shepards go, I have 2 with a few others baking in the ME oven. Main is Domino, spacer/war hero soldier, black kestral with white accents true to Kaidan. And Ione (avatar), same background vanguard, blue kestral with white accents true to Liara (though she found it tough to say no to Kaidan lol.) I'll try and do a combo pic later to space save heh.

I'm just playing it in my head wondering how it'll handle all those meetings for the different romance options - my renegon (I went straight to ME2 and via Genesis decided I would force her to remain mission-focussed no romance for the ME1 backstory, leaving things more open-ended) - she ended up with Garrus. My male adept ditched Liara for Tali, Liara didn't seem all that bothered during LOTSB. My paragon, of course, is desperately holding out for her Kaidan. Paragade shep is finding it hard to resist the charming sentinel this time through too, will have to force her to explore other options in ME2 just to give more variety and see how the characters react.

actually they think i'm a bit insane as i beat me 2 on insane mode as my 2nd playthrough, when i didn't really know how husks or preatorian work x) must say that what you are saying is rather surprising to me, i had no idea that the problem with ignorant retards is still so common...
It might depend on where you live and in which demographic you are. I live in the north of Canada where western cowboy culture is still very prevalent, boys are meat eating and potatoes type who work in the oil field and girls stay at home to raise the kids. That's not everyone (not me and my hubby) but that's the general culture and so the mindset is still sort of 10-15 years behind more evolved centers.
And women my age, in their 30's, tend to not game around here either..

Welcome to my world! I've been doing this a long time, my daughter is now 10 and loves gaming. So now we go shopping for games together. My conumdrum now is that sales reps assume I'm just there for her and seem surprised when I ask questions about stuff for me too and end knowing more then they do often enough.
This! I read all I can about upcoming video games and stuff that I know more than some employees at Gamestop. They're always surprised both because I'm a girl gamer and because I know more about video games than they do, lol.
EDIT: Top
