An apology from Shepard to VS?  LOL sure, I guess... Short and to the point apologies from both sides would also be acceptable.  Otherwise it's much too melodramatic for me.

Agreed.
There's a galaxy at stake. Debating over who apologises first seems a bit petty in comparison.

You know, I'm kinda glad that the VS didn't join Shepard in ME2. I wouldn't either if I were them. I mean in ME1 you were well aware of what Cerberus was. The dialogue for Shepard on Horizon was kinda derpy imo, and I'm sure most fans who romanced the VS didn't like the options that were given either. It felt a little forced due to the limited dialogue options, but I think it was necessary to get the point across. I also don't think Kaidan should apologize... and I hope he puts up some what of a fight before getting back into the relationship.

What my Manshep wanted to say on Horizon:

"I'm not sure why I'm working for them either! I just woke up a few days ago!"

Also this lady is shoving her booty in my face and knows what I look like naked and on the inside, make it stoooop.

You guys think Kaidan will be a gay option in ME3? Because I considered him Shepard's oldest friend since they seemed to have served for some time before ME1 started. If he starts hitting on me it's going to be ackward and I'll probably do what I'd do in real life.... stop talking to him.

I think Kaidan's email said quite well that he still believes in shep, its just cereberus he doesn't trust. I can't blame him for that, i'm looking forward to shooting TIM! Although i was at first sad that Kaidan didn't come along for the SM, i'm now very glad he didn't, the chance of him dying there would have made me very, very sad. Its why my first playthrough of ME3 won't be with a loyal shep, i want to wait for guides to be written so i can avoid him dying at all!

You mean... you're a straight guy that saved Kaidan on Virmire? Holy jeebus. You'll have to forgive me for my surprise, but your type is rare.

If Kaidan is made to be s/s, I would only hope that they make it kind of reactive to how you interact with him. Meaning if you don't want him macking on your broshep, don't pick the "Hey Kaidan you're looking mighty fine today" option.

Guides? It's just a videogame man. People are taking this too seriously. He died? Load a save. It's that simple.

What I meant was is that many guys I know just picked Ashley.  Also it was indicative by that ME3 preview when it was said Kaidan didn't have much love.

As if having big old shiny hearts for the love options stopped the ****** over DA2.  Although to be fair, Anders will make one flirty comment before you have the chance to shut him down, if you pick diplomatic options.  Still.

The way Bioware has it set up... (hopefully), he won't hit on manshep unless manshep hits on him? I think there's a high chance of him being Bi in ME3, and if he is, I would like him to comment on it even when romanceing him as femshep. I don't want the cheap he's gay if you're male, and staright if your female type of BS.

according to developers - some of the deaths may be dependant on the decision made much...MUCH earlier in a game so you won't be abel to just load a save, unless you want to replay  most of the game, trying to figure out where you went wrong.

persoanly, as a metagamer who likes to script her playthroughs, I'm going to wait on my loyal Shepard as well.

P.S.  I would wager that more straight guys picked Kaidan as a survivor then these boards would indicate.  a lot of people don't  even do romances at all and depending on your style of playing - Kaidan makes a much better squadmate.  people don't always worry about how something looks andf isntead make their choices based on what works best for them in terms of gameplay.

I know Kaidan doesn't have much love. Poor guy...

Everytime I talked to Assley I only did it for the story. Iwas "skip, skip, skip". I always looked forward to chatting with Kaidan. His very wise for his age. I enjoy intellectual discussions, not just chats about "me me me me me me!".

I couldn't let the poor guy get fried.
