So I never installed ME1 or ME2 with Polish dubbing, never heard any of it either. Decided to check it on YouTube, especially how Polish Kaidan sounds. O. M. It's horrible, isn't it ? PL dubbing in ME and ME2 is just ... bleh  ... That's why I'll never again buy a game with Polish dubbing (except Dragon Age: Origins:wub:) ... even if I'm using this language everyday (I'm Polish btw).

It's not so bad. But you are right, Raphael is much better I love his voice and it's one of many reasons why i love Kaidan.

Wow, are you polish, i thought i'm the only one here Please, don't even remind me that, i almost cried when i realized i got the dubbed version of the game and just couldn't force myself to go through more than the intro, i almost eded up hating ME 2 after 10 minutes because of that >_> Still, before i managed to succesfully change it in the files, i had to replay it a couple of times, hearing how "much" emotion does my shep put into saying KAJDAN WYNOCHA had traumatized me for life ;_;

German Kaidan sounds much better than Polish one. He at least SOMEHOW resembles Raphael's voice. I also heard German ManShep once and he was like 100% spot on. Perhap even better than Meer lol.

At least Polish Kaidan has low voice!

I can't find video with Russian voiceover which contains more than one line from Kaidan, but here's an example of another character by same VA. Note who is said character and try to imagine the magnitude of mind**** I experience playing this game.

Dubbings are OK ... if they are good . Dragon Age: Origins in Polish was great, Neverwinter Nights (1 and 2) were amazing. I think that ME just don't need translations . Original is the best <3. Nothing can beat Jennifer Hale, Raphael Sbarge etc.. ^^

Definetly agreed. I think it is a safe assumption when the voice actor for the character does more publicty for Kaidan than the ME3 marketing team, that I can honestly say he is the best!

German ManShep and German FemShep are absolutely spot-on Meer and Hale. Hell they even got a pretty good joker and I think it is nigh impossible to get anyone with a voice even remotely resembling Seth Green, he's just unique.

However, the general act of voice acting is...bleh. ManShep conveys some emotion, FemShep none, the general meaning of the dialogues gets lost if you don't have subtitles and pay attention, because the lines are recorded without giving the actors an overall grasp of the situation. I played DA: O and MEin german, then got the english versions and never looked back.

Best example: epic mindf*ck

The illusive man and captain anderson have the same german voice, I **** you not, I looked that up xD

Also, 90% of the voice actors are from Naruto, both in DA and Mass Effect.

Daveth is Sasuke Uchiha, Alistair is german Kakashi Hatake.

Also, german Liara in Mass Effect 2 has the voice of german Morrigan.

It just f*cks with your head so muuuuuch @_@

Polish ME2 Kaidan sounds imo good. But don't get me wrong, it SOUNDS good. It's a nice voice, but the actor's performance is hell wrong (as well as in most of Polish dubbed games don't you think Isaac?).
Don't remember if I ever heard ME1 Kaidan, because afaik VA was changed. Same as both Shepards etc...

I've never played ME in german, always in english, but I watched some vids in youtube. I think the translation is sometimes not so good. It sounds so strange how they pronounce names, for example Kaidan. That's funny.

Liara-Morrigan and Anderson - TIM have definitely beaten our Kaidan-Zevran.

About "localization FAIL" - I've never forget how failed lines weren't edited out of DA:O. Imagine this: beginning of line, then something varying in profanity from "Damn!" to "Holy ****", then repeating of this line. Shale does it twice with same line.

Edit: oh look, one of four official ME3 Kaidans released so far.
