Ok I'm bored. You guys and gals want to help me play a game of Mass Effect 2? We can call it the Official Kaidan thread playthrough or something.

I'll start a game of ME2 and when I reach a semi big decision, I'll ask you guys to pick the answer. Then I will pick the first person to answer in this thread. I can post pictures throughout too if you want.

I'd do this with Mass Effect but I've played that to death. Might as well try to make ME2 more interesting. My character of course romanced Kaidan so you don't have to worry about that.

So let's start. I need:

Name?
Race?
Hair Color?

 Bbaaaahhhh I missed the translations subtopic  I'll just quickly resurrect it long enough to say that I played ME1 in German, it wasn't too bad, I can understand why you guys didn't like it but at least it was mostly alright. Got to ME2 - I barely got past Horizon before the terrible syncing, subtitles not matching up half the time, and general flatness of the voices started to get to me. Although I do think DA2 is quite well translated and acted in German.

@yoshibb, I vote for Georgia or Georgina (means farmer) if she's a Colonist Shep, Daria for Spacer (meaning Guardian), and Justina for Earthborn Sheps (that last one is just because my headcanon says that some Earthborns don't have first names until they sign up for the Alliance, so they just look around for something that looks good and that'll do. My Earthborn is called Aminthe for this reason - it's totally some kind of future alcohol.)

This made me laugh.  I like Georgia for a colonist, since the state was founded as a penal colony.  Like Australia!

I chose Vanguard cause that's the one I'm most familiar with. However, I will go renegade (Renegon when I want to be nice to some of my crew members).

I'd throw in Soldier, because that's my favorite, but the general consensus on that is that it's too easy/boring.

Actually, I think it's harder, since you can't just take the easy way out with powers. My first Shepard is a soldier. Some of my adepts/sentinels never fire a single shot in battles. (Which is nice since I don't have the best aim.)

soldier and vanguard are my worst in ME2. why kill something up close if you can kill if far away? that's SENSIBLE. 

sentinel is too easy, so is engineer. (engineer is underrated - a 3 second cooldown drone placed between shep and enemies? nothing ever shoots her way)

Yeah, Cerberus is too dangerous, (and evil, because I liked Kahoku, and what they did to Jack/Toombs/David and many others is wrong IMO) to be trusted.

Shepard tells the illusive man that he is going to have to do a lot to gain her trust after what he's done in the past. The Illusive Man tells Georgia to head to Freedom's progress. There she's happy to see Tali again. However, there is a difficult matter to deal with. What will Georgia do with the quarian Veetor? Send him back to Cerberus or give him to Tali for treatment?

Oh agreed, also love the renegade plan - Jack and Miranda work so much better as characters if you go down that route with them.
