I would love to have something like that for the 360. As it is, the only pictures I've taken are of my fShep with my cell phone, and the lighting is horrible. I would love to be able to take screen caps of different scenes and characters and playing around with the images on Photoshop.
As for Shepard carrying Kaidan, I have to admit, only once have I left Kaidan with the bomb just because I thought it was a little awkward for her to be carrying him (in my headcanon, I got Wrex to throw Kaidan over his shoulder, lol). Don't get me wrong, I thought that was awesome and, I mean, she wears all that armor and carries all those weapons, I'm more than sure she can carry him. But, for once, I'd like to see a little role reversal. Maybe a scene where Shep is down and Kaidan is the one that carries her. It's just that they have the same animations for both male and female Shepard, so I would like to see a little more...femeninity, I guess you could say (looking at you, Kasumi's dress!).
LONG post incoming:wizard:
First, when I need to record or take pictures on the the 360 I use the dazzle recorder. It records things directly off the tv. I usually use my cell phone too, though, when I'm too lazy to set it up, but the dazzle does work really well.
Second, here's the thing about that whole scene. I have watched movies, played games, and seen tv shows and it's always the same thing. Boy rescues girl. Boy carries girl. Girl sometimes screams and yells like it is all she is capable of doing while people are shooting at her! Even the strongest of women are relegated to this role at some point, especially if there's a strong man in the area.
If a woman does save a man, 99% of the time, that man is portrayed to be a wimp. He's skinny, he's frail, he whines while the female is saving him. Because all these writers and directors see him as being weak because he was saved by a woman. So it's either that or she's saving a kid because that's motherly, and all women are motherly *rolls eyes*
Now I'm not saying I completely mind that sometimes. For instance, I think of my Hawke as a little more feminine and I'm sure she'd love to be carried off by Fenris. But Shepard was always different for me. From the moment I created her, she's always been strong. But what makes it awesome for me is that Kaidan is also strong. He's killed a turian with one kick in the head. He's very capable of handling himself in a fight. I'd never consider Kaidan weak by any standard.
So when Shepard saves him, it just felt amazing. Shepard did something that I have waited for in entertainment for forever. She saved a strong man who also happened to be a romantic interest. And it partially may have been because of lazy designing, but I don't care. That time on Eden Prime and the time on Virmire made the game for me. The animation could've been better but really is Ashley's anymore realistic? They both look like Shepard's carrying a moving surfboard.
Anyway, while I wouldn't be against Kaidan carrying Shepard, I'd hate that they take away the other scene because it's not feminine enough. I've seen enough of that to last a lifetime and I don't want Shepard to fall victim to that too.
