I found the scene where Shepard (male or female, doesn't matter) carries Kaidan to be comical more than anything else.

Yeah, hauling anyone over your shoulder like a sack of potatoes is going to look silly. I remember people being really unhappy with FemShep carrying Kaidan, when ME1 came out, because somehow it made Kaidan into a wimp (not my opinion, I was just lurking on the old Bioware forum in those days). Personally, I'm kind of annoyed by knowing that Shepard has to rescue the VS yet again, but I'll reserve judgement on how the scene will play out.
I like being able to be a big guddammed hero, but when no other characters are being literally carried away from being injured, while these two in particular are, repeatedly...it says something about how the writers see the VS. Hmm.

I actually love that part, but because I see it as FemShep being strong. Not necessarily that Kaidan is weak, but in that scene he is basically defending the nuke. He gets shot at multiple times, and it kind of makes sense that he's not going to be strong enough to walk considering the circumstances. But yeah, I could see where other people on BSN would end up claiming that he's a wimp. I guess not a lot of people understand that FemShep being strong does not automatically equate to Kaidan being emasculated.
Good point, though. I'm thinking it's just to add drama to the VS relationship. I'm going to have to see the scene before I pass any judgement though. Lol hopefully it doesn't make Kaidan/Ashley look weak though. It better be a crazy injury because of bravery or something
Yeah have your Skype set up and talk through Skype.... I have my headphones set for Skype on my PC, but need to set them up with the laptop....Bekkael wrote...

Do you think Raphael knows, which power Kaidan has in ME 3?
You gave me a good giggle with that one.
Okay, about skype, how would you have that going while xbox gaming? Would I have to have my laptop open and next to me, I guess? Not sure that would work, since my laptop has a tendency to overheat/shut down when it's not actually on my lap....greedy, possessive thing! <_< I suppose those of us that can chat w/ crappy headsets can, otherwise, we'll just play and curse only to ourselves.
I hope those of you with twitter are sending in questions. We need to give him plenty of questions to answer, so maybe he'll have to split it into two blogs.

I don't have any issues with Shep carrying Kaidan - I find it humorous, but not degrading in any way. That little romantic part of me would like, just once, to be swooped up by Kaidan as he saves the day.
Well, maybe not swooped, because we all know that swooping is bad.

Also I was just watching scenes from Shadow Broker DLC and Liara expresses that you keep saving her over and over, well at least she's partly responsible for Shep coming back to life, Kaidan doesn't even have that.

Kaidan saving Shepard appeals to some of those who romanced him...but not necessarily those who didn't.
I worry about *anyone* saving Shepard because of the problem of player choice/roleplaying.
I don't believe everyone's Shepard is roleplayed or intended to be BFFs with Kaidan and/or other characters.Eshaye wrote...

I don't really understand the problem here. Shepard is a baddass yes, but so are her/his teamates. If Kaidan is alive it's because he's either the LI or the best friend. Even to those who doesn't like him that's pretty much how the story is set up. Same for Ash. Wouldn't you want your BFF to save you sometime? I'm sure the BFF would.
Heh..

I'd like to see Shep at some point be helpless and need rescuing. It makes her/him feel more human, like the bit of insecurity we saw with Shep at the end of LotSB talking to Liara. It's great playing a badass and all who saves everyone, but at the same time I like just a little bit of helplessness.
