Hahaha. Ahh. I can totally see my multiplayer character accidentally sniping one of her teammates.
I'm really looking forward to MP though! I love that we have a Kaidanites group for it. Seriously, it makes me excited. Haha

Indeed, if I had a penny for everytime I heard, "Watch it, Shepard!" or some variation of it I'd be bloody rich.

For the record, it's International Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day. Not that that has anything to do with anything, though

lol tho w/ the drinking games during multi. that would be too funny. you turn around and see one of your squad running headlong into a wall of mechs.
"what are you doing?"
"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
that or you turn around to see them laid out on the ground giggling..."I'm just gonna rest right here for second...."
Don't worry about that, my awesome spinning and shooting skills will protect everyone. And my weaving will make me harder to hit
LOL!

Ah, but I would never get so drunk as to endanger my squad. Ever. And I see alot of snipers. I'm a soldier class. I know everyone says it's so easy, but I really enjoy it. I would just hope I get to have my Reave with me.
@Lady: don't worry about being shy. You'll be too focused on trying not to get killed. lol. Personally, I've never, ever played MP. I have no idea what it's like.....ah, but I'm talking like I'm actially gonna do it.

Also I was just watching scenes from Shadow Broker DLC and Liara expresses that you keep saving her over and over, well at least she's partly responsible for Shep coming back to life, Kaidan doesn't even have that.
You know, that makes me wonder... If Kaidan had known Liara's plans to bring Shep back, do you think we would've helped? I can imagine him willing to, but at the same time his dislike for Cerberus would hinder the plan.
I skipped this, sorry LadyofRivendell!
I honestly don't know if Kaidan would have helped Liara, IF Shepard was clinically dead I don't think so, he seems the type to think that would be going too far. I'm basing that on his reaction on Horizon where he doesn't know if Shepard REALLY is the same Shepard. It's like he's afraid she's some crazy cyborg/clone thing whithout Shepard's soul.
Then again maybe I inferred that myself...
But then again Kaidan himself is the product of unnatural human experimentation, so maybe he would go for it if Liara tells him there's a chance Shepard isn't completely 'dead' and could be restored as she was.
And whut? There's a Kaidanite MP group? Really? Is the link on the Kaidan group? I have to go check that out and sign up. I'm on the PC too and would love to play with some of you lovelies.

@Import - still trying to decide if I'll import my paragon or renegade Shep ... decisions decisions!
@MP - whenever I'm watching my hubby play MP I always wonder how he knows who his teammates are ... there have been a few times where I've had to play in his place and I shoot the wrong people
Me + MP = no good! But I will try!
@Heroics - love the idea of having the interrupt for the interaction between LI's to give a more human/personal touch ... will be interesting to see what they give us .... only 6 and a bit weeks till we find out!

Speaking of, was a reason ever given in game that non-biotic Sheps, like my canon Soldier, can use a biotic ability?
I've always wondered about that. In my headcanon for my tester Shep (she went from soldier to vanguard), I just surmised Miranda somehow exposed her to eezo so that she could gain biotics and make her "better". Don't really know how the whole exposure thing works, but it makes sense in my head, lol.

Regarding importing, I definitely will be. I guess I'm weird as I have no "canon" character. There's 3 Shepards that I am really emotionally invested in, and I will be using my loyal paragade Elizabeth for my first run. =)
I'm up for a little MP drinking with you guys, although it won't be anything very hard or I'll be falling asleep in the middle of a battle. @_@
Need more Kaidan on this page. Here's a favorite of mine by phantomfan.

@DarkPsylocke26 I agree, im at the first BIG boss, Barthawhatever and i cant beat him, i think ive tried 10 times, so im done playing.. ill be returning it.
@Silverpearl1977 Yes i may get FF13-2 but i cant even beat FF13 so i dunno.. its pretty annoying. I have my characters leveled to the MAX and he can still kill them with one hit so im like screw it! They changed it too much! Before even if the lead character died someone could rez them, now even if everyone else is 100% the games over!
@yoshibb I agree she seemed so out of emotion in the last one i find! But they did say that Shepard will really come out of their shell in this one, more emotional and all that! Oh i cant wait!!
I also feel like my comments are missed a lot! I know you are all talking about skype but i think ventrilo would be better, less laggy on the computer which means i can join in with you guys as i think you are all talking about playing the MP with skype... Anyways id love to set it up if someone said something about something i said lol.
@leborum Im up for drinking too, although im boring, i like my mimosa's lol im such a girl lol!
@Xbox players!! Should i get a headset for my xbox.. i have PLENTY of time i think! lol!!
@carine I agree im pretty excited too! Its a shame we arent all on the same platform!! If anyone hasnt added me on xbox yet get to it! My name is in my signature!
@LadyofRivendell I agree! If there is friendly fire you guys are gonna hate me, im so rambo id end up killing everyone! And dont worry im shy too! At first anyways, than you get to know me and im full of laughs!! As for a biotic ability im taking it your talking about how Vanguards can use "Omni Blade" I know there will be a biotic charge or something for Adepts!

I'd join you guys for some MP drinking games - Granted that water or iced tea counts
I've been looking into headsets, but they're all pretty spendy to use on only one game, so I'm probably going to use my cheaper ones that came with my 360. I'd recommend getting at least those, they're about $10-20 last I checked.

Glad I'm not the only one who goes Rambo! Well, I guess it's a mix of Leeroy Jenkins and Rambo, which is much, much worse
Biotic ability?

I've talked about this in the past before. I see where Liara is coming from in some ways. Obviously if Kaidan got wind or the Allience knew that she was possibly going to hand Shepard over to Cerberus there would be no way that they would allow it. Too dangerous! I think Kaidan would of helped her get the body but then he would of probably talked her into letting Shep RIP. That is one thing that drives me nuts when people say well Liara loves Shepard more than the VS cause she risked her life to save shep. Well the VS had no idea and if they did why wouldn't they risk their life to go get Shep body? Maybe not give shep to cerberus but to bring him/her home.
Plus I still think that Liara should of told someone about what she had done. Maybe not right away but a good time would of been when Shep was first spotted on Omega. She could of contacted Anderson and said I just had Shep visit me on Illum. I know she/he have visited you as well but there is something I should tell you. I gave Shep to Cerberus 2 yrs ago and I'm sorry I never said anything. I just didn't want anyone to get angry at me and at that time I didn't even know if they could bring her back. OMG I'm writing a novel. So anyways those are just my thoughts and I doubt they will even touch on that subject at all in ME3. If they do I will be shocked.

This is the same for me. I've never played multiplayer and I only have one friend who plays Mass Effect so the fact that I could play with people I'm familiar with (relatively speaking) through this thread was a huge factor in me actually getting brave enough toget Gold and try multiplayer.
I'm in the mp group on 360 so if anyone feels like it, feel free to go back and add me, a few posters already have.

I've always chalked it up to Shepard is just that 'special' for no apparent reason other than he/she is the protagonist. There is a huge possibility I missed the explanation though.
So, am I the only one crazy enough to refuse to give one of my characters a talent that they theoretically shouldn't have the ability to use? For my vanguards I always use reave and I love it but I refuse to give it to my infiltrator, for him I've been going back and forth between armour-piercing ammo (combat) and neural shock (tech). (Oh, the eezo I've wasted switching.) I wouldn't give my adept anything other than a biotic talent, though I can't remember which I gave her. If I ever get to ME2 with my sentinel I'd only give her either a biotic or tech ability. I have no clue why I'm so adamant about something so ridiculous.
