And your point is?

It's not obvious?
Why not just move the hell on because the entire galactic paradigm has changed and as a result, the entire context of the relationship can and ought to be approached on new terms. Especially considering, you know, that's literally the only contact either of them had with each other in over two years.
Getting hung up over one awkward conversation with a heck of a lot of good reasons for the awkwardness reeks of a crippling deficit of self-confidence. "He didn't like what I was doing and told me! I either have to explain myself or he has to apologize or else we're over!" Spare me. If either Kaidan or Shepard is devoting a lot of mental thought to what "should be done" about this then they both need to get over themselves.

That wold be because this is a blatant "Kaiden adoration and can do no wrong" tread
If you want to see some different opinions than you need to look across several forums discussing Mass Effect, you'll find a dazzling amount of "Kaiden hate" floating around. And if you check the polls and surveys for the first agme and compare them to the second you'll notice that form leading the chart of favorite character Kaiden got, in best case scenarios, to the middle in majority of thous surveys done after Mass Effect 2. Even Ash does a little better in general.
As I sad - I do not hate the character, and that is why I'm sticking my neck in blatant fan tread, to remind people that the issue does exist, and it needs to be addressed for things to work out in Kaidens favor in the end.

It's the "water under the bridge, let's move on" option
Sorry for double post

The only reason why Ash does better is because that majority slept with her. The core of her argument is still the same, however.

Probably, and because one expect fickle behavior from a woman more - she could have had a sever case of PMS on horizon after all
From a man people expect strength and stability, in ME1 Kaiden came across as thoughtful, calm and dependable, having him turn hysterical all of a sudden, borrowing Ash's impassivity was a mistake.
But the point still stands, even she does not climb over 6th position out of 10 usually.
And I think that Kaiden deserves better - he is a strongly written character that made an impression, but for that things should be not just ignored or swept under the rug, but worked out.
Logically I know that Horizon is just him reading Ash's lines (as intro is him wearing her pink armor), and that was a case of "not enough attention to the char", but admiring a case of bad writing does not make it good - it has to be cleverly fixed, given a back story and a reason to turn things around, which I hope we will see in ME3.

'headkeyboard'
Nasty, nasty, entirely set up event. I hope someday Shepard will find out the truth. Remembering one of my favs, "I'm not looking for the answers. I'm looking for dates, places, people". Maybe even small repeat of the final of corresponding LM:devil:. Or Claymore, Carnage, Heavy Charge

And Kaidan has a hell of a temper, if you know his back story, that he keeps tightly controlled. He killed a turian merc with one kick when he was 17.
In any case, Kaidan was livid. Who wouldn't be? His dead girlfriend shows up AFTER TWO YEARS working for terrorists and is all "Hai! Wuts up?" If we are going to be petty about apologies, Shepard absolutely owes Kaidan one. If he fell down and started kissing her butt, I'd think the character was completely butchered. They are adults. They had an argument. People argue all the time. Do you honestly expect your friends and lovers to agree with you 100%, all the time, and follow you around without question? Because then they aren't friends/lovers, they are doormats.
Anyway, love his new look, and love the new hair. He looks awesome!

I already stated my point of view on this a couple of posts above. And no I don't think that someone owns an apology to anyone for bing alive. And yes I do expect my lovers to be 100% behind me or they can start packing.
Oh, and Kaiden killed his instructor protecting another student, and only after month of abuse, that is not temper - that is survival.

And it made sense. Ashely is the stable character between the two, not Kaidan. Ashley doesn't repress her emotions and always says what she thinks, thus nothing ever builds up inside her to blow up. She said almost the same things as Kaidan on Horizon but she wasn't screaming, her tone was bold but she didn't raise her voice. Kaidan is a ticking bomb that blows up when he cares for someone and his temper comes out precisely because he represses it, fearing of what he did to Vyrnnus.ThePwener wrote...
I have to admit that Assley was a little less hostile then Kaidan was. It was the voice acting difference.
