Not Kaidan related: I have the flu :(:crying: Trying to play ME2 and I am having mega coughing fits. Not fun at all...

Your not the only one I just got over mine<_< God nothing is worse than the flu. I also want my ME2 back now!! On one playthrough do you think I should let the council die? It seems the worst move but I'm trying to make this one opposite from the other Shep. What do you all think?

I've totally killed the council before.  It really changes the way people, including aliens, (and even Avina) interact with you on the citadel.  And it's kindof fun.  They do deserve it after all.

Oooo did you? Good to know!! I'm just trying to do the opposite so I don't have identical Shepards. Avina acts different how?

Oh ok. I can't wait till the demo. I hope they changed some of the features so femshep can look better and thank god for new hairstyles. Of course then we see Kaidan:wub: I don't care if we argue. Just to look at him. I might have a squee moment.

Agreed that Shepard might break after events of ME2, but I'd want options to express it differently. Sure, from my Shepards Angel (sweet and dependant Paragon) would hug her knees and cry, but Alyson (Vanguard) would definitely go kill several dozen of baddies or exhaust herself in gym, Ashley (human supremachist) would be in denial - "it can't go wrong!", and the most emotional reaction you can pull from Ingrid (chessmaster) is "sit in the chair with unfocused look and smoke cigar".

 Good morning lovelies!

OKay the banner at the top page made me think there was Kaidan news for a second. Awww!

Read chapter 8 from latun's fan fic and I'm all squee'ed to heck. XD

Joker, part of me was so happy to see him, I think I let out a squeek and then when the Normandy came up I actually got chills, and my husband was on the couch wondering if I'd gone completely crazy. He'd just watch me going: Yay! NOOOOOO! What? OMG! SQUEEK! WHOA! In the first hour...
Back to Joker, I also felt like damn rights he should be there! He got Shepard killed! I also don't think it's right that Joker was grounded, maybe he was offered a teaching gig or something that doesn't involve actual flight and he was insulted or not for that at all. Meh.

As for a Shep breakdown, yes I want this!! I feel like my Shepard is at the end of her rope internally, and I'd love a chance to just vent a little at Kaidan. Be like you know what? I lost everything I knew and everyone I cared about (colonist) in a matter of minutes and everyone expected me to know what was going on. There's 2 years I'll never have. And now big bad robot killers are coming to reap us all and I don't know if we can do this... There doesn't need to be tears, but a little anger and frustration needs to be expressed. That would be satisfying.

amen.

Seriously, BW, we know sh'e s Commander F***ing Shepard and we love it, but she's still a human, you wanted to make sure of that. And as even Miss Perfect Asset was let to have her little breakdown moment, i say Shep has every right to (ok, ok, i just want to yell at Kaidan a bit, shush ;D)

Anyway, i'm currently playing as paragade and as much fun it is to roleplay, i'm slowly getting frustrated, as apparently my scores (3 bars of para, 2 of gade) aren't enough for important persuasions and choices, does anyone how much is needed for miranda&jack catfight for example?

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I felt like Joker was the only one who remained loyal to Shepard and believed in her jugment instead of worriyng if working with Cerberus is safe. Of course Tali and Garrus apears later, but still I think I had the warmest feelings for Joker. He was with Shepard from the very beginning when she was lost and didn't know what's happening:pinched:

I know that was just a typo but it gives me such a giggle I couldn't resist.

Yeah, Joker generally makes me laugh so bad. His comments on the team Shep is working with were so bloody hilarious :D

My main shep (Emony the spacer vanguard) has a reputation for being cold and ruthless, everyone assumes she doesn't care who lives or who dies, but Torfan changed her, she's been trying to redeem herself ever since. She misses Kaidan terribly, they connected from day 1 and she can't wait to see him, but all her efforts to keep calm and be in control may fall apart if she has much more thrown at her.

Andrea shep the Earth-born sentinel was furious with the council for their lack of help so let them die, angry with the alliance for leaving her, angry with Miranda "I'm so perfect" and TIM, she insults everyone on the citadel, but is very good to her crew. She gave TIM the base, but feels some regret for her actions after talking to her crew about her decision. She finds comfort with Garrus (they both have their scars). She held back and stayed focus in ME1 but Kaidan is still out there, maybe he can help redeem her.

Alan shep the adept had a best friend in Kaidan, was with Liara briefly, but didnt like what she turned into. He briefly flirted with Kelly and got his fish fed, he's always cared for Tali and was delighted when she reciprocated.

Kate shep the infiltrator is still a work in progress, she sometimes shoots people 'cos it makes her feel better and advises Garrus to do the same, but would never be anti-alien. She's enjoying flirting with Kaidan for now. Not got round to Virmire yet. She may not take too kindly to being abandoned in ME2... oh pretty sure she's going to give the ambassador job to Udina this time, leave Anderson out of that mess!

All my sheps were thrilled to see Joker, he's part of the family!

It's a freaky percentage system - the bars are not enough of an indicator (see bottom of http://masseffect.wi...m/wiki/Morality) I was so mad I couldn't choose Morinth when playing as a Renegon because I wasn't renegade enough, though all my paragon sheps would have had no trouble choosing her over Samara if they had wanted to. I must have scraped through the Jack / Miranda fight, it's not as much of a requirement as Morinth choice. I was worried I might lose Tali or Legion in their confrontation, so instead of activating Legion (and potentially losing one of them in the final battle) I gave him a chance to live by giving him to Cerberus... of course, that probably didn't end so well for him but I'd rather not be directly responsible for a crewmember death!

@latun98 Maybe ima perv but when i read it im like DAMN i need it more steamy, ya i think ima perv lol!

@Agent599xx Awww i hope you feel better, maybe sleep instead of playin ME? lots of water.. would love that your better for MP!

@LadyofRivendell As for playing rank i think i could see him doing that, after all she worked for Cerberus, he probably doesnt trust her fully, in his mind Shepard could still be working for Cerberus as well! I hope that doesnt happen but i have a feeling he will have an issue with the fact that we worked for Cerberus.

@carine i agree, just seeing him will be the cake.. than March 6th with be the icing! aww ya! Counting down!!

@Random Jerkface LMFAO!! Thanks all i have to say!I watched that whole thing.. worst acting ive ever seen! Mark Meer does better lol!

@Silverpearl1977 On that note i have a question.. actually this is for ***EVERYONE*** So they say there will be more hairstyles but im wondering if our imported Sheps can change theirs too?? Id love that.. almost like in DA2 how you could go to that place and remake your character as many times as you want.. IM hoping, I hear theres gonna be long hair so id love to sport that!!

And they said Shepard will have a different walk and everything! A bit more feminine im hoping!!

You could have kept Legion and not activated him until after the suicide mission.

^so much this >_> and i'm just reading that for that very reason it's better to recruit Samara asap, as it's easier on lower levels. just great, i basically did everything except her, as i wanted to cumulate as many points as possible, which really isn't that easy when you're focused more on acting than mechanics... sigh. anyway, thanks for the answer, guess the only way to meet Morinth for me is to go back to some old save from paragon playthroughs, lol, that doesn't make sense

It's hard to get crewmember killed even if s/he or they are illoyal. I have several saves with revealed evidence at Migrant Fleet, and Tali survived just fine. Of course, she didn't talk to corresponding Shepards anymore and became dead weight at SM...

I always imagined my Shepard would deal with it by trashing her room and maybe a little bit of tears. But I don't know, I'm still not a big fan of how tears are rendered in video games.

Yes I hope there's a long hairstyle. I grew out my Shep's hair for the final 3 DLCs, (yay save editor!) So in 3 if I can have longer hair I'm gunning for that, don't mind if I have to redo my Shep's face for it, I've got the code!! People in the FemShep thread say you can't edit the face but you can sort of if you save the code and just tweak a few things and resave it...

Yeah looking forwards to new anims, in the latest tweet update they said they are effective but subtle. \\o/

Are you talking about The Black Emporium where you could change anything in that mirror? That would be awesome!!! Like look in your bathroom mirror or a mirror somewhere in your room. Anything really!! As long as we don't get that horrible shot in the dress while talking to Garrus. I don't think we really noticed much until we had that dress on and then went wow that looks all wrong. I think it would be cool if you could like have a default hair for missions and then a default hair while on board normandy.

On another note I finally made it to lvl 60!!! YAY!! Pain in the ass but yay! Also this is finally my true 1st renegade. Had no idea killing Rachni Queen, Killing Wrex, and talking Saren down thru Renegade options would help. Now I just need to kill the council. Does Renegade actually transfer over to ME2? Does it make any difference at all?

You mean, renegade meter? It gives some amount of red points in the beginning, just like Paragon meter. Game world won't change much, except in question where Shepard's actions should logically have effect - for example, there are several changes in how aliens view humans if you abandoned Council. Effect of decisions... is unpleasant question; in many situations renegade path = no cameo.

On "finally did it" - I recently got message from Lorik Qui'in. This happens when you give evidence to him without convincing to help Gianna.

What does the message from Lorik Quiin say? So basically all the aliens will not like me in ME2? Meh I can handle that. Now keeping this character Renegade in ME2 is going to be a challenge. I don't know what kinda decisions I have to make to do that. I'm happy though I have a character that did total opposite of my cannon. Will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Lorik is cutie. He tries to use human sayings and fails again :) Also he's new administrator on Noveria and invites you to visit him when you'll be on Noveria again.

About aliens: the most precise wording of their opinion will be "you humans are all racists!" :) It won't create major problems, though.

I guess I'm in the minority concerning Joker. I have Shepards that absolutely adore him, sure...but then I also have an angry/resentful Shepard that every time she sees or hears Joker, thinks: "Shut up, b*tch! I died, all because of you." I would really like more of an option to roleplay that relationship as messed up, and it didn't feel like the game wanted to let me. Even when you can sorta blame him for the crew getting taken, it still felt too nice to my angry!Shep.

That's interesting about Lorik. I don't think I ever tried that option. I only have 4 ME1 characters that I completed.

Yea Joker brings up a line when you make a comment about dying when saving him. Like "yea your such a downer or something" that actully really irritated me. I wanted him to actully thank me but maybe that is just Joker dealing with his guilt. Still a regular ty would of been a nice touch.

Edit: Oh for the love of God this is 2nd time I had top. That will teach me to talk too much:P
