I'm also not an expert, but co-op is a version of multiplayer modes. So, yes it's the same.

I've been trying to log into my Origin account but it's still broken (apparently it broke when i bought SWTOR, so says a help tech support person.) He said he'd get it fixed and it isn't and i can't email them because it clears out the forum every time i send and i asked to be called again and they either let it ring once and hung up or they never called.... I don't know if i'm going to be able to play MP or ME3 for that matter :-/

I found a complete uninstall of origin and reinstall helped, it's a pain but if you do get them on the phone for long enough then you may end up with a tasty discount voucher (I got 20% off for my half hour of pain). Keep trying, good luck!

While the trailer does look rather nice, I still don't like the idea of multiplayer and I still wonder exactly how optional it will turn out to be.
For example if there's 100 galactic readiness points needed to qualify for the optimum ending, how many points can one obtain in single player alone?
The answer I'm afraid of is exactly 100, which would limit SP to one and only possible path to the perfect ending, throwing a great deal of replay value out the window.

Thanks I hope i can get it sorted.... and know i'll know to ask for a discount lol.... last time i was on the cell in peak time for about an hour. I'll try calling later tonight, hopefully they'll have people who give a hoot on...

And I would love to play MP with you!  Not sure how to add you though. 
I bought the Xbox for my boyfriend (now husband) so everything is set up
in his name.  I have no idea how to add friends. Such a newb.   I'm guessing when I get around to adding people I'll have to explain to him who these people are and reveal myself as a BSN addict.

I hope it doesn't take long for Kaidan to take me back. I've never done ashley's romance so I dunno how she acts on horizon. But Kaidan's letter made me believe that he isn't over me. Even though i've been gone, he said his friends "tried" to get him to go out. I would think Ashley would have been more likely to move on over Kaidan. He seems kinda dependant on you after he tells you about jump zero and that girl he loved (forgot her name x.x) I just think of the two, his will be easier.

Dont judge me but I always play on casual ...I'm now lv56 (second PT, started at 47, again first PT on casual) with about 3/4 of the game to go.

So I dont think difficulty affects it or my game is glitched, I'm finding it easy to level up. Thought I might've had to bump it to normal/hard

It does not.  You can play on Casual and still get the same amount of XP.   Makes killing threshers on foot much less intimidating

Kaidan is very good at following orders, but also comes up with great ideas of his own
