Yikes, really? I'm bad at keeping track of the date, apparently.

I can't wait for Valentine's Day! Not only because of the ME3 demo, but also... Chocolate sales at all the grocery stores! :o

 I'll join you, Lulu. My methods on multiplayer games: Run in, headfirst, into the fray. Get shot. Jeporadize teammates who run in to save me. They get shot. Repeat chain until the entire team is down :wizard:
...Actually, I'm not too bad online as long as I can play a tank. I'm best at dealing damage while absorbing it, so I'm probably going to play a human female soldier.

That actually sounds like the perfect description of what I expect will happen to me.  I've already decided when I die excessively I'll use the excuse that I'm just taking one for the team like Patrick Weeke's did. haha It doesn't help that in single player I've become dependent on the power wheel pause and improved cryo ammo and I'm not sure how long it'll take me to break the habit... I may have to go to Turian sentinel, I haven't really done a sentinel playthrough but it looked like a good back up plan judging by the powers. The best part of the multiplayer demo will be the chance to get a feel for it and decide what class I can handle before the game actually comes out.

And random aside that's somewhat on topic: I'm still on my first non-romanced playthrough where the character actually talks to Kaidan and I'm loving Kaidan's dialogue. I think it's because I already know all the stuff from the romance so seeing the difference in how it plays out is a novel experience. I'm trying to renegade him and I managed to get him ranting about his dedication to the Alliance and the Alliance's place in the galaxy. Shepard responds that they should put him in recuitment and he goes "Sorry. I have strong feelings on the subject." It's probably kind of mean on Shepard's part but I thought his rant and non-apology were cute and had to make a special save so I can go back whenever I want.

*sigh* Are 20's complaining about the golden years? Let me offer some advice from a very, very OLD 34 yr old. The golden years don't have to be your 20's. It's what you view as the best part of your life so far. I would say mine was 25 -27 yrs old. That is when things were amazing. Now I'm like meh...bored!!!

Edit: How you know your getting old is when you have to edit something 3 times due to stupid quote marks

Is 34 old now? :P That's a very heartwarming piece of advice. I love the age diversity we have around here!

Eighteen and enjoying the hell out of it. Getting drunk, picking barfights, nursing hangovers and black eyes in equal measure. Gonna have to grow up soon, though. The party can't last forever.

Hmm...wonder if Kaidan went through the 'Drink and Fight! For we are young and merry!' phase.Image IPB

He was porbably more out-going before BAAT. I think the quiet came with experience.

Almost 18!

I just found out that my brother's version of ME3 will arrive 3 days before mine (he has german voice-over, I'll wait for the english one... need Hale and Brooks and Sbarge Q_Q) so I prolly will run around in our house all

It's always fun to hear the age ranges, on a good day they make me feel old and young at the same time -- I guess I'm on the higher end of the scale at 38.  Image IPB

The silly part is that I don't remember that's how old I am most of the time anyway and then have to count off of significant events  --- my son just turned 4, that's the only reason I know right off today Image IPB
(you want to feel old, go the the playground with all the other preschool kids' mothers - they barely look old enough to drive!)

Lol no I don't, I've played games all my life and know plenty of gamers my age and older - it's just that most other gamers I meet these days are younger than me Image IPB

I kinda have the same issue. I don't know if the BX here carries the Collectors Edition so I ordered mine over Amazon. But my husband will get his regular one from the BX the day it comes out. I guess I'll have to sit in the bedroom and cover my ears for a few days until mine arrives.

Oh and thanks for the friend requests send on XBL

Personally, I think it's great that we have gamers of all ages here, that get along really well. BSN is a great example that even if people are different and have different opinions they still share a lot. It seems like now everyone talks about how young people can't comunicate with older ones and so on. Seriously, don't they read this forum? ;)

I think if you play femShep you will meet Kaidan, but I'm not certain about it.

I know it's not what that forum is about, but I don't really know where to... share? I feel so crappy today - not enough that my dying went bad and my hair color looks like a crap, my rabbit just died on my hands... She was with me for over six years and now I have to do something with her body, and I have to get her thing out of my house...

Yes!  This way I can figure out which class I actually want to invest the time in when the full game gets here.  I'll be rolling out with a different class every time I play.

And random aside that's somewhat on topic: I'm still on my first non-romanced playthrough where the character actually talks to Kaidan and I'm loving Kaidan's dialogue. I think you have to romance Kaidan to renegade him.  I couldn't do it with my uber-renegade Sheploo.  I'm trying again with my new femshep.  Glad I have awesome conversation to look forward to.  I seriously can't wait for the team milky way line.

@Diona - Kaidan is in the demo

@Vault/ZG - Sorry about the security drama.  That sounds like a huge pain in the arse.  Funny that you were most worried about BSN.  When I lost my wallet, I was freaked that someone would steal all my gamestop points.

Oh, and in my head everyone is the same age as me.

Edit: Ninja'd by Ayashimi

And so sorry about your hare.  And your hair.  Hope today gets better for you.

Both Ashley and Kaidan can only be "turned" by the opposite gender, fyi. Behind every renegade man there's a renegade woman I guess.

Not even that much. They can only be turned if Shep romances them.

No, you don't have to go for the full romance - my renegade Shep flirted with Kaidan initially but then ended up romancing Liara and she still renegaded Kaidan (my paragon Shep is my canon, renegade is more of an experiment - "wow, that sounds like a bad idea, wonder what'll happen if I try it?")

Sorry to hear Ayashimi - 6 years is pretty good for a bunny. At least hair color can be changed, thankfully I've not had any bad coloring experiences yet but I imagine it could be pretty traumatic at first. First couple of days it'll always look stronger, give it a couple of washes :)

Ouch for @vault too - I had one twitter hack in the past but thankfully was able to recover from that. I was mortified when Steam announced their databases had been "compromised", fingers crossed nothing bad has happened yet from that one. Bad people suck!

@ConnyB - lol yes I know what you mean on the renegade experiment. I finally shoved a gun in Conrad Verner's face last night and laughed out loud - hilarious! Can't quite bear to renegade Kaidan though. Maybe I'd find it easier if I did a male shep playthrough - I'd have less connection to the protagonist and could push him to be a real monster...

reneShep isn't actually nasty too him (except the first renegade option after the council grounds you. but then you can apologize). i prefer renegade and neutral choices because they show his sense of humour more imo. he can handle it (makes him sexier) Image IPB

I have to chime in on the age thing. I was at Gamestop picking up a gift card for a family exchange at Christmas, and got the one with Link on the front, and the kid at the counter said something like most old people ask who the girl on the front is. I really wanted to lay him out. Im not old! I'm not a snot nosed kid either but as you can see it still bothers me. Someone needs to tell him you don't EVER comment on a woman's age.

I'm not sure how that happened. When I tried it didn't work (with Ashley though). So you got the renegade persuasion despite being in a romance with Liara?

Maybe I did something wrong when speaking to Ash then...I did nip that romance in the bud right quick though. And I consider "part" romancing them to be romancing them. If you persuade them while in the flirting stage and not simply as friends then yeah...I consider that only being turned by Shep romancing them. Not completely but it only came up because Shep was in a romance with them at that moment. (before he/she ends it/moves on to another LI).

Drinking is so much fun while it's illegal. When you hit 21 your now like "meh, been there done that."

@Vault N7/ZG-thank god you said somethig cause I was trying to figure out which one of my buddies changed their name.
@Ayashimi-sorry about your rabbit:(

I love to renegade Kaidan he has some pretty funny quotes. I just like it he is more outspoken.

Also about the age thing, I've met some very mature 18+ yr olds and some very immature 30+ yr olds.

@ConnyB-I don't think your the oldest I think we have some 40+ in our thread

After once again running into a sexist gamer I'm forcing myself to step out into the Bioware forum, and there is no better place than my favorite thread!

I've lurked for quite some time, and you guys never fail to give me a chuckle with your wit/humor and funny pictures.

Hopefully I'll be able to step it up and participate more here :)

@dstrawberrygirl Yeah, I know, i'm planning to visit hairdresser if it doesn't look better after a week. I'm actually really thakful that it's winter so I can wear something on my hair all the time.

@ConnyB I usually fail at renegade playthrough, even if I'm making renegade choices, I'm always paragon for my crew. I just can't force myself to be renegade to them (and renegading Kai seems... I just love thim the way he is).

Edit. Ups, top. I know this already was posted, but I really love this pic :innocent:
