I'm hoping the story mode is so easy a 5 year old can do it or else I won't be able to convince my sister in law to play it. She likes a good story but hates all the shooting. The action mode would be good for my brother. It would be fun to finally be able to have someone to talk to about mass effect rather than just on the internet.

Whoa, there. I didn't mean to offend anyone or insult Liara in any way. I really like her as a character, and LotSB is actually one of my favorite DLC's. I just found it a little strange that she had Shepard's armor in a glass case. I romanced Kaidan, and even *he* would freak me out a little if I found he had Shep's armor displayed like that.

Edit: I also wanted to add that Liara's affection for Shepard wouldn't feel so weird if I had actually romanced her (or even talked to her, tbh). Maybe I just roleplay my Shepard a little too much, but she and Liara were just friends. Not bff's or really close gal pals...just plain friends. So, yeah, I'm a little weirded out with all this sudden hugging and affection that she displays towards my Shep.

Off topic: Thanks for all the xbox friend requests! I'm going through each profile and select you guys as "prefer this player" so that there's a better chance we get matched to play together in case we're not in a team yet.

These are good points on why adding these modes might be a good idea. They sort of ruffled my feathers when I first heard about them, but if all it does is the ability for more people to play then that's pretty cool.

@ Liara I agree about Liara being a little too touchy feelyish if you didn't romance her. I just kinda brushed it off as her personality and didn't really think anything of it. But if you played a renegade in ME1 and pretty much brushed her off it's really weird. I mean I like Liara (I like all BW characters, of course some more than others) but If you are a total douchebag to her and she still acts buddy buddy with you I don't think BW thought that part through. Or they forgot about it.

@ difficulty Also I would think BW would keep the difficulty settings for the experienced ME player. I mean I think it would throw alot of people off if we only could choose Story mode, RPG mode or Action mode. I of course plan on trying them all out. But I think my first play through will definitely be RPG mode. Haven't decided on which Shep yet. Most stayed faithful to Kaidan, but I plan on making others to romance other LI's, even thinking of making one for Vega and any others that will be available. Now I need to get started.

Just finished the high speed chase scene...love the Liara/Shepard banter!

Hmmm, as for mode, I'm still deciding whether I should start off with Story or RPG. I'm very much into the story (my husband thinks RPG's are too boring - he's more of a sport/CoD type of guy), but I love to roleplay and immerse myself into the game. Maybe now I can convince him to play Mass Effect...if only the action mode in ME3, lol.

Alas I am not from Akron, the closest that I've been to Akron was Toledo, but I am from a little town just outside of Cincinatti.  Which was why I was just a little on the excited side to hear about someone else from Ohio. I haven't met very many people from here.

I'm not sure, I was just passing through on my way to Cedar Point but it didn't seem too bad. We stopped at a gas station to get a map, because out of the four of us not one had a space phone (read smart phone) that could give magical directions, and a random guy there told us what road to find to get back on the interstate.

I'm not from Ohio but we're neighbours. /remembers the random 'West Virginia is weird' conversation hundreds of pages ago in here and laughs my butt off/ Oh, coming in here to find that made my day.

Now I complete ME1 and start ME2 with Garrus + Mordin with FemShep name Jasmine who loyalty to Kaidan (of course My 1st Shepard is Male who is Single and waiting Kaidan in ME3) so, My FemShep cannot confuse by Jacob's ass.  


I read this forum and see you guy talk about hometown. this make me to want to know if this forum have someone who come from outsideUSA like me.
