I just started another ME2 run.

Does the bewby placement on FShep's armor bug anyone else?  I can't figure it out.  Seems low to me.

I think DA:O had more freedom in the romance department the Warden could be affectionate almost through the whole game. ME & DA2 both missed that. I think if Shep wants to get busy at any given moment we should have that option.

Ali was a very well written character. So is Kaid for that matter

Actually he's not a barkeep that's Lorik Qui'in, he is on Noveria in ME and you talk to him to get a pass to leave the port. Have you really never talked to him!?

Lol it's cool!  Just remember to talk to him on Noveria with Kaidan in your squad next time you play ME and you will get that convo.

I enjoyed Alistair's romance more.

In fact, I enjoy Dragon Age romances more in general.

I'm trying to catch up on a few things (been playing a lot of ME2 to finish it quickly), and yay 900 pages! It makes me think of the KAAS thread on the ME2 forums.
About the OXM article, two months ago and I would've ranted about it somewhere, but now I just go "Ugh, KaidEn" and move on. I guess I'm just happy enougth we're getting him back, and I trust BioWare to do a good job on the romance arc.

And about Alistair/Kaidan, DA is indeed less serious, or darker, than ME. The Alistair romance is cute and I love it, but Kaidan is my favorite. I like the way the Kaidan romance started, grew up (I think Horizon gave a big amount of depth to it), and hopefully, will continue in ME3. That's the most important IMO, it's not just one game, it's an entire story arc.

I agree.  I liked getting busy after a tough battle.  The only thing that I didn't like was being in the middle of a battle and accidently engaging one of the characters.  It went something like, "Something you need my love?" and me screaming "No! Keep fighting!".

@ vega I am trying to create a shepard just for him, but Kaidan makes it really difficult. But one way or another I am definitely gonna romance him.

@ Vega's VA people on the vega thread actually guessed it was  him way before it was even announced. So i kinda wasn't surprise. I don't remember who said they thought it was him, but when they did I listened to him and then Vega and you could tell it was him. I love the fact that he is obviously a huge fan so I am thinking he's gonna be really good. I think that probably will make his take on Vega that much better since he is a fan. He will want to do his best to live up to the already stellar cast.

I think that's, as a whole, why I enjoy the ME series more than the DA one. I love Origins to death, don't get me wrong. And I still found DA II fairly enjoyable despite its shortcomings (although Isabela is one of my favorite characters. Ever) but I like how the story develops along the lines of your Shepard in ME. I feel a deeper connection to my FemShep and her relationships with her team because you have two -- and going to be three -- games to flesh it out.

Well, minus the forced friendships. And I love that Kaidan's relationship has that conflict because of ME2. It should hopefully add to the intensity of the next game  Alistair's did have conflict as well and there were many ways to end it, though. I love his romance as well, but I have... well, optimistically high expectations for the consummation of Kaidan and Shepard's story. Not that it'll be a HEA necessarily, but that it'll be good. I don't know. Haha.
