See that's what I would think, that I'd be more invested in the characters cause I am with them for so long and yet, it doesn't seem to work that way.

I was really disappointed with Origins sacrifice ending, too. It just didn't really do anything for me.

Compare this scene in Armageddon to this scene in Origins. I just got nothing out of that scene in Origins despite going through the romance and everything, but I start crying when I see the end of Armageddon. I don't know if it's the lack of animations, or the dialogue, or maybe it's the fact that we never see Alistair's initial reaction to the warden's death. It just doesn't register for me in the same way.

Okay, that scene from Armageddon just made me cry. You're an evil, evil person, I hope you know that :crying: That's almost as bad as watching Black Beauty.

Never cried at Armageddon but I did for Black Beauty and Bambi lets not forget about that one... I'm so ashamedImage IPB

Disney's the worst culprit for tear jerkers. Although, for me, this scene has to be the absolute worst, because it makes me happy and sad at the same time.
Tch, and I pride myself on being stoic. I didn't cry during Marly & Me.

Geez, in the last hour I think we've named three movies I've openly bawled in.

So, yes, Bioware, don't make me more depressed by killing Shepard or Kaidan in ME3.

Oh, God! Origins was the first game I played where my choices actually affected the outcome, everything else was scripted "good guy saves the day" and that was my first (and later canon) ending. I didn't cry but I was screaming "NO! NO, WHAT IS THIS? THIS ISN"T ALLOWED TO HAPPEN! LET ME STOP IT! WHY CAN'T I DO ANYTHING" as I was slamming every button on the darn controller. Then I stared blankly at the screen throughout the entire epilogue and credits with a hollow feeling in my chest. Talk about a knife in the heart. :crying: Gosh, I was too stunned then to cry and the second time I was prepared because I could tell even before the landsmeet where that hardheaded Cousland of mine was heading but I swear I'm about to tear up now thinking about it.

For Disney movies it's always The Fox and the Hound  that leaves me a blubbering mess, that scene specifically.

I tried so hard not to cry during Marley and Me. I was staring at the tv, trying to keep a straight face, but inside my throat was hurting so bad from holding everything in, lol. I just couldn't contain the tears! The next thing I know, I'm bawling my eyes out!

I romanced Alistair in DAO but I hated that it was either Alistair dies for you or he goes through that "ritual" with Morrigan. :/ Never seen his death scene...I get too sad just thinking about it. :(

I need my happy ending in ME3. I seriously don't know what I'd do if Shepard and Kaidan can't remain together.

Lol, I have so many sad scenes I can pull out when I need a good cry. That one is nothing:devil:^_^

And I think I would feel for that one more if my PC was voiced. I just think they could've done more with it. The modded scene with the PC holding Alistair's body or vice versa was really nice, but just think how cool it would be if they'd put that in the real game? And possibly voiced it?

Ironically, the most powerful scene for me from a Bioware game was never put in the actual game. The scene with Atton dying in Kotor 2, the dialogue is perfect. The audio for it is very haphazardly done since it was cut from the game, but it could've been so good. The stuff he's saying is just heart wrenching.

Ok,

and I'm done.

I don't want to just have a sad scene, I want the happy ending too. But I would like to have the bad ending none the less. That's what makes ME so special.

And since I made everyone sad,

Not sure what the first ones are (anything with Nicholas Cage makes me think "Not the beeeeeeeees!" and therefore I laugh hysterically), but I'm watching the Inception thing and cracking up!

I have to say manipulations is one of _the_ best fictions on that site. I'm hard to please and unfortunately, very critical of fiction. She/he has got everything right, transitions, the smoothness of story, and best of all, her humor is spot on, not forced. The story just flows naturally. All my English courses have turned me into a picky reader and this one passes leaps and bounds ahead of the pack

It's City of Angels, Pay it Forward, and Air (Anime). And thankfully I never saw the actual movies with the BEEEESS! But there is this

I love mst3k and rifftrax. I've watched so many while waiting for ME3.
