@yoshibb: I am a huge MST3K/Rifftrax fan. Mike and the bots are hilarious. I just watched Rifftrax's Maniac on Hulu. Highly recommend it. It's a trip.

Anyway, back on topic. Do any of you (like me) catch yourself overlooking crowds trying to find someone who looks remotely like Kaidan? I went to a party a couple of week ago and one of the guys there looked more like Kaidan than anyone I'd ever seen. It was awkward because I kept staring at him, making critical assessments.

Hm. I think the last time i actually cried during a movie was... Lion King. When i was a kid x) I'm absolutely hopeless, i know, i laugh during "scary" movies and it is challenging to get me emotional... that's why i still don't understand myself why did i actually teared up a bit (tiny tiny bit, my eyes got suspiciously moist but thats it!) during Miranda's loyalty mission oO Perhaps i was on my pms or something, especially that my shep was truly ****y toward her. Well, anyway, thats it. You got me emotional Bioware, don't try to push it, DONT KILL KAIDAN. or Shepard. or Anderson ;___;

I...I actually thought this was going to be sadder. It was a lot sadder in my head, at least. I think it would have made for a more tear-jerking scene if the Warden could talk. Just being able to hear the sadness and sorrow in a person's voice is enough to make me sad.

There has to at least be one ending where Kaidan and Shepard live happily ever after. I, too, would sacrifice the lives of millions of others just so that they can have that. Sorry, people, Shepard needs her happy ending.

Hey guys, I've barely started DA and now I have been beyond spoilered, doh Ah well, this is what happens when you pick up games late! I'm sure I'll still enjoy it though.

At least ME3 has yet to be revealed, no-one's spoiling that for me! While there may be tears at the end, it would be awful if the ending was out of character or didn't fit the story. I would rather cry at a sad but true ending, than have a bad ending.

Speaking of bad, my problem with Horizon isn't so much the argument, but it's the fact that Kaidan didn't get taken! How did he escape? He should have been on the collector ship, he should have been the one to get rescued by Shep, there should have been a reunion on there. I don't get how he escaped, it makes no sense to me - what if he's not actually Kaidan? I am going to be asking him a lot of questions when they are finally reunited!

Is it just me or was that Conrad Verner around 2:40?  Really Bioware?  No Kaidan but we get a glimpse of Conrad Verner.  Really??

Looks like it could also be Bailey.  In which case, I'm perfectly okay with that because Michael Hogan is the bomb.

Yey! Femshep exists! Is it really so hard to take a screenshot or video featuring femshep? Keith David is so awesome - love that voice. Bailey! Joker & EDI, recorded together - that rocks! And some new woman in a tight catsuit. Would love to see a piece on Kaidan and Ashley - there's still time, come on Bioware, you can do it!

So 9-3-12 in Europe? March 9th, three whole days - does the Internet pipe take three days to reach Europe? that is somewhat poor in this day and age. It's probably some sort of legal thing. At least it's not months - I recall being so mad that films would come out in the US months before the UK, and celebrated the fact that moving to the US would be awesome for that reason... but since I moved here I've not even had a chance to get to the cinema, so I guess my cunning plan to beat the system hasn't quite worked out there

btw, side note, just started reading Manipulations - all of you fanfic writers are awesome - I love reading how much variation there is in Shepard and how the crew work with her in all her personas.

Awww sorry! I think we just assumed everyone's played DAO.  

Yeah they never really explain how Kaidan didn't get taken by the collectors, I go with that the collectors got interrupted by Shepard and friends shooting up the place and Kaidan was around a corner and got left behind.... Yeah *nod* I also think that originally they planned on having us rescue the VS but thought that would have been too your princess is in another castle.... My Kaidan is in another collector caslte..

Well, there's a support thread for the new character already, so if you're reading this forum, you're spoiled.  

I was thrilled to see Jennifer Hale in the VA video, but disappointed, yet again, to see no Ashley or Kaidan.

When we were all dying for more VS in ME2 DLC, people told us fans we were being unreasonable, and we'd see them in ME3.  Sooooooo...here we have ME3 marketing, and Raphael Sbarge is currently in a highly successful television show, so why leave him out?  Kaidan/Ashley are one of the first squadmates we meet in ME3, and they're supposedly important to the plot of this game, they deserve to be acknowledged in marketing. 

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but it's frustrating.

A-ha!  Found it.  Well that answers that.

I actually was a little surprised that there was no Kaidan/Ash.  I mean, we all know they're back for ME3.  Give em some love, already.  It wouldn't be a huge thing to put in, "I'm Raphael Sbarge, and I'm playing Kaidan in ME3" and then, you know, show some in-game Kaidan hotness.

If you've figured it out just ignore this but: The names they (and I'm in there so feel free to add me) give you are their XBox Live gamertags so that's what you input on your XBox.

And as for the ending I'm with Graceyn in assuming that there must be a way to get your Shep's happily ever after... I'm just concerned about the cost. For Erin, I'm really attached to her and I will not make her act OOC just to get the happy ending. If it makes more sense for her to take actions that end up with a crappy or at least tragic ending I'll do it, then rage and make a different Shep just to experience the happy ending, but in the end still acknowledge that MY Mass Effect ended as a tragedy. (That's exactly what happened for me in DA:O with Elissa and Alistair.) But still, I'm really hopingit won't happen that way, that instead Erin will get her happy ending on her own terms. I guess half the fun is not knowing how the ending will play out until it gets here.

I'm almost done with my first playthrough of DA and I have to say I wish I'd been spoilered, I messed everything up! Firstly I'm minus 2 companions because I forgot to rescue Sten and I didn't even see Leliana.. how was I supposed to know Lothering would get destroyed??  And secondly (spoiler) I wont be able to marry my darling Alistair and become queen because I chose to be a mage. 

As much as I want to be relatively spoiler free for ME3, if there's any way to avoid Kaidan dying (that isn't obvious like Virmire) I definitely want to know about it!
