Because she is a soldier and can take it. That's pretty much how gender equality works; having Vega "take it easy" on a female Shepard and go all out on a male Shepard would be sexist.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes I agree with the fact she seems like a poser. But I'm glad I can kick her off my ship. Unless her character is well written. Bu I doubt it, she's a Reporter in game and modeled after said character. Seeing as how she IS a reporter I can see how it'd be easy to play herself basically. Since the modeled her after the VA and gave her the similar job they probably wrote her the same.

I'm not looking forawrd to her. And if she messes with my Kaidan I hope they let me punch her.

Generally speaking, Mass Effect has great writing so I'm sure things will pan out quite nicely with all the options and things included.
That being said, her voice irritates me. Maybe it is just me but I listen to her voice and think to myself, "TOTALY TRY HARD!"

Yeah, I'm looking forward to kicking her off my ship or punching her... or just... throw her out of the airlock. Doubt I'd get that option but YOU NEVER KNOW!

Also, Sbarge has a new audioblog up! YAY!

Thank you Jacqui for clearing this up. When I was listening, I think I heard my herat breaking. Now that it isn't a spoiler, I'm singing Hallelujah's all around the house. My parents are looking at me funny.

Yay! Another Audioblog!! Thank you so much! We have been deprived of Kaidan Alenko Information for awhile now

Also I hope to see more of Rapheal Sbarge in Once Upon a Time! He hasn't been getting much screen time these days.

Rapheal Sbarge is the best! <3

I hope he knows he has done more marketing for Kaidan Alenko than the ME3 marketing team combined and without him we would have nothing to talk about till the game actually arrived.

It isn't about gender equality or sexism, Vega probably has 50 pounds of muscle on Shepard. That isn't a fair fight either way. Besides that fighting with a commanding officer male or female seems regulation breaking. The scene just bothers me and reeks of dudes being dudes. 

On another note, I got a used copy of ME2 since my Xbox is broken and it will be cheaper to start over on PS3, but since it is used, I had to spend an extra $15 just so I can choose Kaidan as my romance option

Not only marketing for Kaidan, but for me more marketing for ME3 than Bioware have done.  I'm still undecided about getting ME3 but these audioblogs push me towards it more and more, if only to hear Raphael's voice, lol.
