Yay for new audioblog:lol: I was just wondering if this was recorded yesterday, cause yesterday was jennifer hales birthday. Pretty awesome of her to do that. 

Getting to hear Kaidan and Femshep together really made my night.

As for dog names... Well, my dog in Origins was Mr. Bingley, my dog in DA2 was Mr. Knightly, my dog in Fable 2 was Mr. Darcy, so... I need a new Jane Austen character *to Wikipedia*

It just seems that a lot of people are going to get offended if James punches FemShep in the stomach (like those who are hoping Femshep is able to have a baby in the game). A Kaidan baby would have a dent in his hair bump damn it!

lol, I wonder if Vega getting a landed blow, bloodied nose or punch to the stomach, is like a paragon or renegade interrupt.

I actually just finished LotSB, and I didn't have a problem with the Shadow Broker. Reave and inferno ammo, my friends. Never got hit once.

@ Lady: I love Jane Austen!! I love that you've named your dogs after the characters.

Edit: I would actually love to have a sparring match with Vega (especially between him and my Shepard that wants to romance him). I think it would be fun. I just hate that they show Shepard being all bruised and bloodied, and Vega is nice and clean  I can hit hard, too, you know.

I spar with guys in my martial arts class all the time. I've gotten punched in the face a couple of times and hit in the stomach. There are some men who have issues fighting with me cause I'm a girl, but there are others who respect me and have no problem with it. Trust me, sparring isn't all that bad. It's no where near the damage that's inflicted during a real fight with the adrenaline flowing. If you get hurt, it's usually an accident with the other person taking it to far. If someone gets out of hand, you step away or you put them down with something that really hurts.

Ooh, I'd love to take some hand to hand combat classes! The only "sparring" I've ever been able to do is just with wooden practice swords, but at least I got the chance to beat the crap outta some waay too egotistical guys

I think Raphael Sbarge and Kimberly Brooks deserved to be there instead of that "licking PSP" lady...
It really pisses me off much more to know that they didn't hired Michael Beattie (Mordin's VA) but they do have that girl with a character in the game...

I'm still nerd ragging about that....

Anyway, it was great to get Jennifer Hale's input on the voice recording process.  So neat!  Thanks for doing this again!

Thank you Jacqui for clearing this up. When I was listening, I think I heard my herat breaking. Now that it isn't a spoiler, I'm singing Hallelujah's all around the house. My parents are looking at me funny.

And OMG! 22 minutes! Yay! Lots of Sbarge/Hale funness to come up! Looking forward to it.

Gosh, let's see...I watch G4 (X-Play and Attack of the Show anyway), and have always been decidely "meh" about Jessica Chobot.  On the one hand, she is engaged to Blair Herter (also of G4 gaming), and I really do like him, so that must say something about her; on the other hand, she seems more Olivia Munn than Morgan Webb...let's just say, if she is the only bi-sexual romance option, I won't be hitting that (like I would be hitting anything other than Kaidan...though if Ashley were somehow...I might eventually be able to make a femShep for her.  Eventually).

Because, seriously, what is an intra-galactic reporter doing wearing a tank-top?  Unless she was interrupted late at night from her bed by the Reapers, that is my primary question at this point.

OTOH, I am on the whole optimistic about default femShep's look - mostly because she doesn't look 16 like she does in the concept art.  Thank god for that.  I may never use the default look after my first play of the demo, but I will be happy with the knowledge that she doesn't look 16 and pouty.

Finally, the most important question - what am I going to name the robot dog????  I can't believe I haven't yet given this significant thought!  In MMOs I usually name my mount "Snowe"...but I'm thinking the name of my most beloved pet (and named after Gremlins because it was a childhood favorite movie and she was a Shi-zhu), "Gizmo" may be more appropriate here.  Cause, robot...and 'gizmo'...?

The one-month run-up to the ME2 release is really going to be something, isn't it?

Funny thing is that the stuff you do while sparring is pretty useless in a real fight. When sparring, you're holding back cause you don't want to hurt your friend. If I got into a real fight, there'd be nothing honorable about it. I'd go for the eyes, the throat, the groin. I've been taught things that would essentially kill someone, but obviously you aren't using these things when playing around with someone you know.

I think sparring is exercise and endurance training, mixed with technique. It is so easy to break your hand if you don't punch someone correctly. Even if you do know how to punch correctly, you can still hurt yourself. If you really want to get the feeling for hitting someone full force, you gotta do it on inanimate objects like a phone book or a literal punching bag.
