Yes, it is possible to kill them, I passed over one and I got the dialogue....lol

My personally favourite is "I think we need a bigger boot". It's one of lines I very vocally support for ME3 - along with "Ah yes, Reapers". Plus, now there's two Commanders, so more possibilities:P

 ^ Woop. I have almost literally just this second switched off the XBOX from finishing my ME1 playthrough for ME3 since I'll be way too busy until the release.

Do you do Virmire third or fourth?  I couldn't be sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if it made a difference.  Some bits do... ME1 dialogue is... delicious in its complexity. 

Thanks   I'll listen to that and see if I can figure out where the difference is.  Maybe this next playthrough I'll be able to get that line!  And the one about "I'm right here, Shepard.  I'm not going anywhere."  *Thunk*

I REALLY wish you didn't have to renegade him to hear that.  I love that line, but I hate renegading him.

Yeah, I think that's a very insightful and wise thing to say.  Might not make me giggle like, "It'll take care of itself one of these days... or nights :devil:" or melt into a pile of fangirl goo like, "I'm right here, Shepard.  I'm not going anywhere."  but it speaks volumes about Kaidan's character
