Well, when you work for a company that is just releasing a new product, you don't normally go on twitter or facebook or wherever and say that you don't like the product or even some part of it. It's totally unprofessional to do so and in some circumstances, it results in people losing their jobs. Although the case we are discussing isn't that severe, it still doesn't seem right.
I agree that it's ok for them to have their preferences, but voicing them and consequently making some fans upset over it isn't the way to go. And as for Mr Silverman - well, if he knows Kaidan fans so well, then he knows they are fed up with the "but he's dead in my playthrough" joke. We've been hearing it for yeeeears now and it would be nice if someone showed some support for a change. Teasing or not.
And he was just needling us with that comment. I think some people are reading way too much into his tweet. As for professionalism, I think Silverman has handled himself well considering he gets bombarded with inane tweets all the time, so if he wants to crack a joke, I think that's more than acceptable. It's not like he said:"oh hell no! KaidEn is stoopid! lulz" He will probably do what he can, but he doesn't want to offer any guarentees.
