I agree to disagree, I mean the proof is in the fact that fans are constantly on the boards discussing the game and trying to guess what is going to happen in the game. Also clamouring for more images of their favorite characters. I would call that salivating and keeping the game on the customer's mind. Also BW already has a big following for this game, sure they are looking for new fans but trying different ways of marketing examples: the spike videogame awards when they showed the thresher video and also allowing gamers to try out their product on kinect and all of the articles being written about in magazines. People are going to be curious about it and want to play because of the already large following. So I think it's smart. I mean to do like they did for ME2 would ruin the game for many. I mean if you want to know what is going to happen then read the script, but if you don't the less marketing strategy is smart.  Also this is a shooter rpg hybrid. It stopped being a true full on rpg when ME2 came out.

FireEye's post reminded me why I love Mr. Sbarge's audioblogs so much - he laughs very often. Laughing "Kaidan" is rare and very pleasant event.

Ok I have just read 10 pages and here is my 2 cents:

This is a Kaidan safe zone. This is where we all can come in and express our anger, pain, sadness, disapointment, happiness, joy and excitement without being stabbed in the back a billion times in other threads. Every other week there is a new VS hate thread. There is constant negativity about the VS on BSN. Also in gamer magazines who make it very obvious that they killed that whiny Carth clone or that racist Ashley. It doesn't help when Marketing makes little jabs at the VS because it just fuels the VS hate even more. So the people coming in here expressing their anger or disapointment should have the right to do so without being attacked by the others who think they should calm down. This is the only place where we can openly discuss how we feel without stupid remarks from people who don't even know the VS or even care about them. I try to stay in this thread so I don't have to deal with that. I think we have been damn patient. Far more quiet and patient than other fan bases. The game is getting closer and the closer it gets the more range of emotion we will experience. However again, anyone should be able to safely in the Kaidan thread express how they feel regardless of what emotion they are feeling. I understand you might see the view of the devs differently or whatever but still the person who is angry or upset should be able to come here and safely express how they feel without being attacked by others.

Ok more positive note now:
I'm so excited about the femshep trailer! I'm glad they finally announced that yes Kaidan will be in it. It was good to see femshep even for a split second. Was that the default? I swear I read someone say that wasn't the default one. I bet they will release that trailer "soon" Anyways 12 days till the demo and we can see us some Kaidan!

Oh. I'm not native speaker, and it shows.

I said that dealing with links on tweets gives me vertigo - and, strange coincidence, forumite which post tweets on regular basis and seems to make such things with amazing clarity and on lighting speed is called Vertigo_1.

The one in the trailer was the new official femshep. The guy who wrote that article I posted (if you read it) was obviously misinformed. :happy: He updated it when I believe it was jessica contacted him and told him so.

I'm confused, the femshep in the Voice Reveal trailer is a custom head you can select, but it is not the iconic femshep we voted.

That's what I understood. It's like in DA2, you've got iconic face you can't customize/edit, and then custom heads made that you can customize/edit.

UPDATE: Bioware Edmonton’s Community Manager, Jessica Merizan has gotten in touch regarding this matter. “There are two options on the character creation screen “Default” and “Custom”. I believe that the brunette Shepard you are describing is one of several “custom” options that you can then edit. The “Default” Shepard is the redhead you see in the trailer. She is not customizable (similar to Dragon Age II or how the male Shepard option has been in the past).”
