I can barely stop myself from reading the leaks and other spoilers around the site. I have to stab my hand when ever it starts drift over to click on them. I have to play the demo, for sanity's sake.

I'm in a similar situation. I read some of the leak -- I downloaded the file and perused for anything on Kaidan and Miranda and read a few lines here and there. So I know some of the story elements (or a few of them) but nothing specific so I'm fine with it.

But... now I don't want to touch anything leak-related with a ten foot pole. Or in depth spoilers. I won't even look at the demo stuff until I've actually played it

You know... thinking about it, I don't know that I want to play the SP portion of the demo... I'd rather have everything be a surprise for the beginning of the game! Anyone else not playing it?

I've seen the leaked beta so I'm not really worried about the demo ruining anything for me. However, I'm still debating whether to have Kaidan in the demo or not. As I've said before, I kinda want to wait until the first time I play to see Kaidan in the game. I want to feel that surprise...heart beating rapidly, palms clammy, words stuttering out as I greet him.

Personally, I'll be playing the hell out of that demo. I played the DA2 demo about  5-6 times, so probably at least half a dozen times for the ME3 demo. It's supposed to last about an hour and a half, so I'm really excited we get that much time with it. Even though it will probably feel very short.

It's so very close now.

So I started playing ME1 with a male Shepard and it's so weird and not right. But I have to get through it because I want to play with Ashley alive. I was hopeless in trying to make a handsome Shepard so I let my bf do it for me and he made him look like him LOL  So then I changed him because I didn't like how he looked and I still don't like him.

But I couldn't resist to go and talk to Kaidan and I wish I hadn't. I talked to him right after saving Liara and he said that she's a sweet girl and easy on the eyes. Then I said I saw her first and then Kaidan said "Only by a few seconds, sir".
I was like NOOOO, Kaidan is only supposed to have eyes for femShepard even if she doesn't exist haha. Is there any way to have Liara die on Virmire instead? 

I like Liara and I've asked that question many times. lol

I won't be playing the demo, would rather wait for the full game. Besides, I'm actually quite addicted to SW TOR right now ... I've got a few days annual leave left to take before April so I think I'll be taking them when ME3 comes out, only way I'll find enough time to play both games!!

Okay, so, I've just caught up on the thread (sort of, as this place really does move pretty rapidly) and really enjoyed the read. Lots of controversy.

1st, regarding some comments from Bioware employees: It's difficult not to care about how Bioware feels about a character we love. They made the game or helped and have influence over whether or not things actually happen within the universe I've come to love. That might be the only reason I care actually about the comments coming from some of their employees. I respect the diversity of the game and the opinions of those who play them but when it's people who create the game it makes me feel nervous when I see the favoritism. I don't care as much about the other characters. I'm a Kaidan fan. I just want to see him. On the flip side, it's their right to give a damn about what they give a damn about...I don't hate, either way.

2nd, May I ask you guys (anyone who wants to answer) what made you fans of Kaidan? Was it his character or the story between femshep and him? Forgive me if it's already been asked but I wasn't able to read all almost 1000 pages of the thread, so I'll have to throw it out there into the universe. lol

Okay so I did the expertzone thing, i'm just waiting for them to verify my paystub and I'm playing the demo on the 10th. I'll inform my kaidanites about hot kaidan action if I see it
