I was actually planning on doing the opposite which really doesn't make sense. I was going to make one of my renegade Shepard's become paragon after coming back to life. My reason was that somehow during my reviving something was changed in my brain. So I come back with a different personality but the thing is that my background is Ruthless. How can I still be ruthless if I'm good now? I don't know if I'll go through with that. 

I actually did the renegade -> paragon thing with my vanguard. She basically wanted to renegade Kaidan (her LI) but he somehow paragoned her instead  Dying and being forced to work with Cerberus only strengthened the paragon in her. Not sure if it makes any sense to anyone else but it does in my little head.

actually my biggest problem is my lack of patience. i may only have two shepards but my canon shep has been imported so many times that i cant stand to sit patiently through cutscenes. so i skip converstations and end up choosing the neutral option<_<. and i dont talk to the other crew members. so i lose out on chances to be mean there. which really doesnt help when trying to be a renegade.

so i killed the rachni queen to make up for it.

and i'm pretty sure being nice to kaidan doesnt really help.

one upside though, i've finally learned that wrex is awesome! i love when gives his  two cents in! its hilarious

Ugh, I hate when this happens! After playing the game and hearing the dialogue for the millionth time, I'm so used to slamming down on "X" during conversations and end up picking the neutral option when it's finally Shep's turn to talk.

I've tried Renegade, but the closest I come to it is Paragade. My brother plays pure Renegade, so I just live my renegade fantasies through him, lol.

I wish Kal'reegar could be a romancable squadmate in ME3. The way he talks reminded me of Kaidan. The way he says "Ma'am" to prove he wasn't out of line in what he was saying made me crush on him like with Kaidan in ME1. Maybe if Tali dies...he can replace her. I really want to see how quarians look especially him 

I love Adam Baldwin (any Browncoats in here? )! I, too, wish Reeger was romanceable. I swoon every time he says "Ma'am", lol.

Hey guys, doing another ME1-2 run with a brand new shiney Shepard. Earthborn/Ruthless but a paragon and Kaidanmancer. So sad, I still need Shepards for Garrus and Liara romances but I end up making another Kaidanmancer... le siiiigh. Kaidan! Why can't I quit you?! Oh right sexiness... carry on.

Technically I have the Paragon who said "***** you, Alliance, and big thanks for not bothering to collect dog tags and not even sending mine to my mother", but she always did everything basing on situation (common sense FTW!) and her desire to help people. Opinion of other people never mattered much, what became obvious at the end of Overlord - "Illusive Man can fire me if he doesn't like it". Resurrection just made her more trigger-happy (Elnora points a gun at me? Bam!), and Kaidan on H*****n created situation when everything that she considers as romantic advances cause "I have shotgun".

I just remade Skylar into a Sentinel so its double the damage its quite fun!

RP wise, Sky can totally relate to being a biotic, cept she's L3 rather than L2.

I wish that Biotic Sheps could talk more about being biotic with Kaidan- how does she feel about it, where did you train, etc

I was 59 going in to Virmire, I was still a long way off 60 when I completed I'll probably have to redo the whole thing a third time to get it. This is payback for not knowing what I was doing first time round.

On the upside, I get more Kaidan if I have to replay it again

We've seen Ash (who didn't turn out so hot) and how they tweaked her, and we do know they're reusing his old render. So will they attempt to make him look closer to his face model (a là Liara), or will they try to make him closer to his concept art? Will they get rid of that godawful hair tumour?

Huh, when it was my "third playthrough to reach lvl 60" and all of them were Kaidan-romancing, I actually expected "You again???" in the first scene with Kaidan and Joker.

My Sentinel is the only I've completed ME1 on Insanity with - and with Kaidan in my squad every mission, too.  I did distribute the points differently - he got more electronics/decryption for the locks, and I could concentrate on biotics.  But on the whole it worked surprisingly well

What level you were when you finished first playthrough? There's enough XP (if you do everything, open all locks and kill EVERYTHING on foot, without Mako) in the game to probably jump from level 48-49 to 60 on 2nd playthrough. I'm currently about to go to Virmire and I'm just 8k XP from hitting level 60. But if you're much lower than level 50 after first playthrough then yeah, most likely no chance to reach level 60 on 2nd playthrough.

I'm not going to lie. His hair is one of the things that annoyed me about him in my first run. My fingers were constantly twitching because of how badly I wanted to take a razor to it.

I'm curious to know what he'd look like with a cut like Haaz Sleiman's. I don't personally find the actor attractive (though I think he's very good-looking), but dat hairline. OMNOMNOM

@ level 60: I only made it to 59 on two playthroughs. I was *this* close, but meh. I didn't feel like playing it a third time after already playing it back to back. I'll go back eventually...if only just to get that level 60 achievement.

@ design: That's why I'm so anxious to see an in-game shot of him. I'm curious as to how he's going to look. Ash looks a little weird to me, but I think that's just because I'm not used to seeing her with her hair down. I wonder if she'll have her hair up during the game or if that's how she'll always look. Do you guys think her hairstyle will change depending on if she's on the Normandy or on a mission?

As yet we've seen Ashleys hair always down (leaked beta, GTTV, etc). Only in a artwork she had a ponytail.
I like her new look. She looks really hot.

As I recall, hair bump even had own support group, so I guess it depends on personal taste. Funny thing it made me to take a second look at song "A little less conversation"

About "how Kaidan was tweaked" - from all pics awailable now forum ava looks identical to "screenshot", CE vid design is the same but with slightly more pronounced eyelashes, and only "concept art" looks totally different - so "screenshot" version is in majority. Plus, text in artbook says that they took ME1 head and "improved" it since it was 5 years long - and for "improved" I can see only more polygons / higher res texture; probably grey hair as well. My guess that ingame version is either exact copy of "screenshot" look or its close adaptation, and concept art is unrelated.

Me too. I'm okay with the new hairstyle too, but the hair bump is just really distinctive to Kaidan

I maxed out on 50 my first playthrough. I've been killing everything but thresher mass on foot. I'm also doing my hardcore run through. Not ideal for pinnacle station. Extra armor makes the time trials suck.

@IsaacShep yeah I was on about 47 after run 1 - didn't pay a huge amount of attention to the Mako points difference. Also didn't have Pinnacle Station or Bring Down the Sky til recently. Ah well, I have a feeling I'll enjoy a full rerun through later in the year
