I've just started using archive of our own it is so much easier and nicer to look at than fanfic.net.

Can anyone link me to a really good Kaidan/FemShep FanFic?

I haven't read all the fanfics (although I'm working hard on it ), but at the moment my favourite one is a soldier's duty by JaerWolfe. Lots of humour and emotion, and a very nice psychological work on the characters. Plus, the subject is original compared to most of the Shenko Fanfics (it explores Kaidan's past).

I just love the fact that Bioware make an announcement about release info in a thread stating 7th Feb and just like they did with the demo (information meant to be released in nov, demo out in jan), dont play a big "oh sorry for a delay" but just a small comment somewhere.

They leave us in the lurk, they could have just said there was a delay, instead of people sitting and waiting. I wouldnt be so fed up. *sigh*

I'm just happy that the demo will be out next week and I don't have to work that day. However, I am more excited for the femShep trailer. I hope it comes out today though I would not be surprised if it doesn't. I am a little surprised that marketing has not really geared up for a game that is coming out next month plus the little information on Kaidan/Ashley. I do not want to be spoiled before the game comes out but more screenshots and in-game footage would be nice. I guess the demo will have to do

Morning Kaidanites... I had to catch up on 10 pages since yesterday afternoon lol.

Slightly old topics- I've been hooked on Bioware for their female characters since about SWKOTOR and maybe a bit before... I'm also a browncoat ..and huge serenity/firefly fan (I has lots of swag and my Serenity sits across from the Alliance Normandy on the sound system.)

I too am guilty of being on the boards at work, mostly.... and as a break from reality lol

Can't wait for them to fix whatever it was that broke and for the demo... SWTOR is keeping me busy, but I'd rather be mass effect'ing.

Nice work! I had a similar story in my head that I never wrote down, great to see you've run with that idea of how things fit after Arrival.

Art book ordered, but from what I hear I will need to keep the whole last third of the book closed or I'll be spoilered! Will be hard to avoid looking at the Kaidan pics, but I can be strong. At least I think I can!

I have a question that hopefully someone will know the answer to.

I have 6 finished Shepards in ME and I've never bothered to get a character to 60.  So this last one (my soldier) I got to 55 in the first playthrough, but I've never done what I've seen people refer to as a "new game+" so I can continue (?) and get that character to 60.  I'm not sure how to do that.  I have an xbox (don't know if that makes a diff).  Do I just start a new game and then at some point am I allowed to import that 55 character?

After you completed the first playthrough on ME1, and want to do a new game plus. Just press start new game and the option for importing a completed Shepard should come up when it asks you to.

I still don't know how half of familiar from Photoshop functions works in GIMP, so... strangely made Kaidan cookies.

@Kaidan Fan, no clue on the xbox - on PC when you start a new game (on the same machine where you played before / where it can find your save files) it gives you the option to import an existing character - they start out exactly as they were at the end of the previous playthrough but you get to do all the missions again.
