I tried to get through all 900+ pages but alas have given up!
Just wanted to pop in and say I'm excited for Kaidan's role in ME3! I was not at first, as most of my Sheps have romanced Thane, (ducks to avoid being hit), but after replaying ME1 and romancing Kaidan, I carried it through ME2 and now have both the "cheated on him" version and the loyal version. I'm hopeful they treat the loyal version well! Heck I'd even take Thane and Kaidan fighting over my Shep
Plus as I recall, his biotics were pretty sweet!

Nah, it'll be great to see what Kaidan was up to the past three years. I'd be disappointed in him if he wasn't promoted during the time Shepard was gone. Mac Walters tweeted about his development as a character and said that Kaidan's more of a leader now. I think it'll be nice to have someone experienced and comitted on the team. Shepard needs someone to challenge her every now and again and I think Kaidan may serve as the voice of reason in some cases.wheelyjon wrote...

Plus, Shepard get to "serve under" Major Alenko. And she's really looking forward to that.
Fraternization regs never posed a problem before.

Wow, that's something I hadn't thought of before. I've actually never had a Shep who romanced him, because of the kid and dead wife baggage coupled with that perfect drell memory ("Shepard's cabin, blue glow from the fish tank, she removes her armor, soft squishy flesh around her waist, a myriad of scars from Akuze" - I dunno if I would want to be remembered perfectly), but I think the note in his file at the Shadow Broker base is just heart melting. I hadn't considered that it was really just upsetting Thane's balance.kromify wrote...
i adore thane but i feel mean romancing him, since non- romanced thane is at peace with himself and ready to die. it makes staying faithful easier, unless of course things change in ME3

And then there's Kaidan. Every time you go in to Shepard's cabin that picture's there on the desk. Reminding you of what you're missing. So glad he'll be back in ME3. And I wouldn't mind seeing a little in-game footage... *cough*femsheptrailer*cough*

@Thane conversation: I have a plan to romance Thane eventually, Garrus too, but alas my only Shepard right now is the one that's loyal to Kaidan, and after playing ME and ME2 on that one Shepard 4 times each to make sure I never missed anything... Well, let's just say that that particular romance is going to have to wait till after Jasmine reunites with Kaidan in ME3.
@Kaidan being a Major: I'm fine with it actually. In Jasmine's eyes she's proud of him for getting promoted, just like she was proud of him for standing up to her on "the place that shall not be named", even if it did sting for a while.
Hm, still no trailer? Or news? Bah! *goes back to playing DA2 to keep herself occupied*

....but I much prefer my staying loyal to Kaidan, because honestly he's the only true love in my Shepards lives 
. Kaidan being a Major doesn't bother me either, my Shep will be just so happy to see him she won't care what rank he is , oh and "the place that shall not be named" ? ....kind of reminds me of Harry Potter 
, Horizon did hurt, but when you look at the big picture...it's no Lord Voldermort, hehe xD
