I would not recommend trying to hit 60 on your Insanity run. You really have to do pretty much everything in the game to finally hit 60 and Insanity is pretty tedious. I tried it and then gave up. Made it to 59, I think, on my Insanity run because I just didn't want to die and reload, die and reload, over and over on all the side missions. Load screen is too long. 59 to 60 takes sooooooo long.

I made him pro-alien, but still in the Rachni scene he was the one to point out the tanks and them being there for a purpose because I had Liara with me who seems to have a priority on being pro-alien and for some reason BW thought it was a good idea that one team mate would advocate one choice while the other would do the other choice. Same happened with the council at the end, he turned all it's bigger then Council and I think it was Tali who became pro-council...which is odd both become out of character, Tali shows clear resentment for the Council for booting the Quarians out of the embassies.

It's like if you pick more paragon people as you play paragon and one always becomes dissappointed in your choice, I didn't take Morrigan anywhere in DA:O because I got tired of it fast, shame too when she wasn't such an extremist she was alright. But I think they learnt from those and ME2 didn't suffer anything like that, the characters each had thier own opinion on the matter not one of two to choose from based on the squad.

I agree with this.  I think each squadmember offers the same suggestions no matter who you take with you in the mission.  For example, I've had instances where Kaidan is for saving the rachni queen, and I've had other instances where he's against it.  There's a certain line that's said there about leaving a child locked away in a closet (or something to that effect), and I've heard it from all squadmembers. So I don't think their personality has anything to do with it in regards to "main" decisions (i.e. rachni queen, killing/saving Council).

However, there are unique dialogue in certain situations...but getting them to say it depends, I think, on who you have with you.  On Noveria, Kaidan will only say the line about extranet fetishes if Liara isn't in the party (please correct me if I'm wrong about this).  Also, if I'm not mistaken, he only says the RTFM line if Liara is in the party.

I really hope ME3 takes into account their personality whenever the squadmembers offer their suggestions on mission, but I doubt it.  It would be nice for each ME3 squadmember to have their unique dialogue in these situations.

Yeah, that's not a worry anymore.  Even if it's brief, seeing some ingame footage of Kaidan will be awesome.

The only problem for me will be that I'll probably be at work when the trailer is released, and I won't be able to watch it with sound, if I get a chance to watch it at all before I go home...

But everybody is going to be taking and posting screenshots, right?  I can at least sneak into this thread when it's not busy.

It will be really interesting to see if there are any consequences depending on if you renegaded or paragoned Kaidan in ME1. For ME2, the alignment you talked Garrus into was carried over from ME1, so this should happen to Kaidan's alignment too.

Love that one, Kaidan cleans up good. What outfit is that? Some PC mod?

@Tilted_Logic : When I had Garrus in my party he said the "This is bigger then humanity" line, which I take personally as it's worth sacrificing some of the alliance for the Council that runs all of council space. But it might have been with Tali or Liara I'm not sure which now, he said something like it's bigger then the council. Whether it was a seperate game or that one Liara has also said the "forget the council" line too, which is odd as early in the game she states something along the lines of "The Council represent the hearts and minds of trillions of people" so should always be pro you'd think. Frankly the whole thing is bizzarro world to have characters flip so one always disagrees with what you do, paragon or renegading them doesn't seem to matter, Garrus as paragon and a turian was anti council. 
I always thought it as prioritized, one would be for one thing and the other would always oppose, but one squad mate would have a higher priority to be for a paragon option, but after seeing some videos and hearing some of your feedback frankly I think the entire system must be borked in someway, if only they said things based on characters then it would be a non-issue. Eh my brain hurts again, I just hope ME3 has nothing remotely similar aside from lines changing if you've changed thier attitude on things but still within character, but I doubt it Im fairly certain ME2 didn't do the same did it?

@soccerchic: He says the line regarding a child being locked away from it's mother regardless of whose with you I think. It's said in the other room with the scientist and neutron(?) blast as he explains they can't control the children into cannon fodder.

@Lutan: 30 Seconds to mars : Vox Populi, since I saw that fan video I've love that song now and will find it so fitting as I rally the people into war with my Voice for ME3. It even has a tip of the hat to Cerberus "Have you ever been a traitor", I swear they made the song for ME3 and that video but they traveled in time to do it.
