Getting nervous about this Friday. We'll soon find out whether Shepard can have a future with Ash or not.
He always will, even if we have to make it up ourselves.

Ashley: This is a beautiful spot, Shepard.
Shepard: Yeah. It's a gorgerous planet.
Ashley: I prefer the tropics, no offense but I didn't much like Inta'sei.
Shepard: I'm no fan of sand either, and it was blown to hell anyway.
Ashley: So the one and only good thing that came out of that damned war was the Reapers gave you an excuse to look for a new housing location.
Shepard: Pretty much.
Ashley: So I guess it's a win-win situation. No more sandy desert, hello cool breezey beach side.
Shepard: Yep. And... I'm thinking the cabin could be... right over there. *points of cliff face a few hundred metres away.*
Ashley: Why over there?
Shepard: A few metres climb down to a beach. Easy view of the sun rise, and set every day. And a damned big yard for any lil'Shepards or Mini'Williams' that may come along.
Ashley: When you put it that way, that makes it easily the best choice.
Shepard: Heh. This is gonna be something... interesting. I've lived on ships my whole life, I never much liked gravity planetside.
Ashley: If you want to get techincal, this is actually a moon.
Shepard: I know that, but you know what I mean. Born on ships, raised on ships, served. Hell, I'm as Nomadic as the Quarians before we liberated Rannoch for them.
Ashley: Now, your settling down in one place. I think you're gonna go stir crazy.
Shepard: One more thing I love about this planet - moon, whatever. There's cliffs and mountains all over the place. When I was a kid, I used to love climbing up and down cargo holds. Had a few friends along and used to drive everyone nuts. Broke more than a few bones, but by god it was fun.
Ashley: See, I always figured you the type to be that quiet kid in the corner no one paid attention to growing up.
Shepard: Well, yeah. I was a silent kid -
Ashley: What happened?
Shepard: Williams...
Ashley: Hehe, sorry. You walked into that one leading with your nose.
Shepard: But, it didn't mean I was unadventurous. I was just... furtive about it.
Ashley: So we've got a loud crashing tomboy and a quiet, adventurous bookworm in this little duo.
Shepard: I resent that. I am not and never was a bookworm.
Ashley: Whatever helps you sleep at night, Skipper.

It's better to die together than to live alone, Skipper. I follow you into the fray, through hell and to the Grim Reaper himself. That's not a promise - it's what my love for you demands.
- Ashley Williams right before the final battle (fictional not-used statement).
Doubt so. Maybe there's a chance, but even then, it's a tiny one. And I wouldn't count on it.Mdoggy1214 wrote...

Also BW could do another announcement in the future - so if there's nothing for us this time, it may happen next annoucement.
And in case there won't be a final answer: we still have headcanon. And in my case, it's the "Rebirth story"

You want my honest opinion? They're going to blow it off at PAX, talk about the good reviews and good stuff in ME3 and not the bad, release several more vague hints at what EAWare is doing, and leave us in the dark as much as possible. And come near the end of April is when we'll know for sure what's happening as they'll announce it then.Mdoggy1214 wrote...

I hope for the best, but I'm not holding my breath.

Clone, you've pretty much covered anything I'd say there. This thread and a twinge of hope is what is sustaining my interest in Mass Effect.
Ah well, at least I fixed my phone (after 3 formats and flashes).

I don't know about everyone else but I'm not buying any DLC till I hear something about how they are addressing the ending. I can't even bring myself to play MP since I finished the game 2 weeks ago, why would I put more money into a game that makes me feel depressed if I spend to much time thinking about it.

I'm the same, but I can manage to play MP. I love horde modes!
I will not be buying any Bioware or EA products until I am happy with the endings.
Besides, from what I've seen on here, the awesome group of writers in this thread can outmatch anything Bioware comes up with. Yes Bioware, that is a challenge. Prove me wrong - I dare you.

Shepard's mother and Ashley's family visit their grandchildren/nieces/nephews on atlernating weekends?
@Hellfire.
This 'awesome' writer has an writing block atm. Otherwise, I'd have a post-War Shepley already written and completed.

I'm doing a play through of the first ME right now, it's amazing with all the little flaws 3 has it makes the first game that much better. I played a ton of MP, I had almost half the achievements before I even started SP, but I just can't bring myself to play it since seeing the ending.

I have a touch of that at the moment as well... swamped in work and not having much of a chance to finish the next chapter to my shepley. Think I set myself a huge task as my last installment was so big and feel I have to at least match it
