#Complistic. If that happens, I will fcking puke.

And I am calling it a night. This is way too much for me to process right now. The highly likely prospect that the ending DLC would not only be as bad, but make the original 3 endings appealing in comparison.  Yeah. That's barf-worthy right there...

Goodnight Ash mancers.

I'm taking bets that by "clarify" they mean showing how ashley and liara have little asari babies on gilligan's island.

Any takers?

That would be........actually kinda hot

I'd rather it be with Liara than Joker, still Shep and Ash deserve to be together for a long time.

lmao, it is inevitable. Unless by clarifying they mean showing that scene was actually a dream of shepard's but I don't think i'm that lucky,

But if you asked me 2 years ago if I thought this would be in ME3 I'd of called you crazy as well.

It's funny, I've actually called a lot of crap in my previous dialogues without realising it. Ash working with/for Udina, Ash being an LC, Shepard becoming a Reaper/husk/avatar thing, a kind of synthesis thing going where Ash got huskified instead.

Yeah. I called a lot of this crap. Seems like Bioware was looking at my notebook. And For crap's sake I wish they took the dialogue too. Probably better than most of the crap they left in.

Sorry, rage moment over. Goodnight all.

Will hold the line for Shep+Ash's future family.

Ashley: Shepard, I want a pet cat.
Shepard: Uh, no can do Ash.
Ashley: Why not? You keep a hamster in your cabin, you can manage a cat.
Shepard: No I can't. I'm allergic to cats.
Ashley: Awww. Really?
Shepard: Yeah. It really sucks because I love the little critters to death. They just... don't like me.
Ashley: ... so that's why you have the hamster, instead?
Shepard: I'm training McBubbles to assist in practical jokes.
Ashley: Heh - Shepard's Hamster Training Academy - SpecTRe style.
Shepard: Ya-huh.
Ashley: But, 'McBubbles'?
Shepard: I was drunk. Had a few with Joker and Garrus. I just didn't bother changing the name.
Ashley: O...K then. Might I ask who you're pranking?
Shepard: Whomever deserves it.
Ashley: Joker?
Shepard: Joker.

Do tell! What prank would this be?

I wish I had more screenshots to lighten the mood a bit. I do have this rather badly timed one though. Needless to say, it didn't end well...

Joy. Thanks EA. It's not like they F*cked up every other series they've touched. CC4 for one. I wasted my 16 (was that was '09 right?) birthday present money on that one... god, what a waste. It was pathetic. Would have been innovative if it weren't the last game of the series. And the ending was - shock-horror - the same no matter which path you took. You get shot by your CO and Kane leaves. Only difference is whether or not your wife is alive. And honestly in the GDI side, thank GOD she's dead.

I'm sorry, EA of now is pathetic. They used to be good, CC3 was GOOD. Loved every second of it. Loved every second of Kane's Wrath. But the last five years have been horrible to say the least. I'm a lazy person, hence why I play games, but this is seriously making me brush the dust off my nintendo games and play those. A last decade was awesome. Story was more important than graphics.

I stopped after C&CG:ZH. I loved the Generals series more than ever. A little too much if my parents had anything to say about it when I got the game back in 2004. I missed out on the Red Alert 2 series, so I got the First Decade, played the campaign non-stop, and I loved that series even more. Suffice to say, I was never a fan of the Tiberium Wars, so I wasn't all too excited for C&C3. And I'm not even going to buy Generals 2. Saw the trailer and thought it was way too extreme for my tastes.

And sorry for turning this into a non-Ash rant post, but I miss that. The Zelda series never had the best/awesome graphics, but it has one of the largest fan bases that I know of because its cliched but the story is told with a new twist each time. And Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are still names that you hear around the place, hell, they've even been remastered (OOC has, not sure about MM).

I miss the old days where story was everything and graphics were next to nothing in terms of importance...

Can't say I've played any of the games, but I always had interest in learning about them because of what I heard, especially OoT and MM. I missed out on a lot because my first console system was the GameCube.

I miss the days where I could be snarky/renegade to Ash and she'd have a witty comeback and still be tagged as the love interest, not this 'Oh, you renegaded me once in this minute conversation at the start of the game. You don't want to romance me anymore.' stuff. I could joke offhandedly about her sister singing show tunes and she'd have a witty comeback that I'd laugh at...

I miss those Halcyon days...

Indeed, those were the good ol' days. ME1 didn't always have the renegade comments that made everyone hate your guts. I loved joking around with Ash, Garrus, and Wrex with some snarky comments and then receive a witty comment in return. I was laughing when the Ash romance lock-in and the pre-romance scene came up because I could tease her, and she'd return the favor. I miss those moments. In the other 2 games when it comes to romance, if you renegaded a response, the moment was most likely over. You'd be considered a d-bag that didn't care. I hated that that's how it's become throughout the series.

Oh, no need to worry there. The fanrage will most likely ignite there so much that almost nothing can put it out.

I'm going to give them a chance - I want to hear them out, but with each new detail I learn, the less and less I care. I've said it once and I'll say it again. My wallet is firmly closed to any Bioware and EA products if this clarification nonsense doesn't do the franchise justice.

The future of Mass Effect for me hangs by a thread - this thread coincidentally. It's a harsh line, but it's all I have to go by.

it would be nice if Bioware gave us an ending where ash and shepard end up raising a family together, That would be very nice. But we have to wait and see.

This - I mean would it kill them to have some sort of happy ending with a high enough ems score and making the right decisions in game.

It would kill their "artistic integrity".

Disappointed Ash is disappointed in your behaviour, Bioware.

Eh, I'm giving EAWare one last chance to redeem themselves before I can decide whether to buy games from them in the future. Nonetheless, after ME3 is done with it DLC, I am probably done with BioWare afterwards.

C&C:RA2 (and its expansion Yuri's Revenge) are some of my favorite PC games. Saddens me to know that Westwood will never come back.

Btw, I have a request for everyone. Can anyone provide, or share links to sites that contain, HIGH resolution pics (1920x1080) of Ashley from ME3? I tried Google but wasn't impressed with what was on there. She's one of my favorite characters.

All of my screenshots are at that resolution. Anything you are looking for in particular? :)

Must say, Liara + Ash has something.

However, I'm a "true Shepley shipper" with a hint of Kaishley and a large hint of fem!Shepley. So Shepard and Ashley is my OTP and nothing will change that - except PAS - Aurora knows the deal

Cool!

I'm looking for shots that show her off positively (none where she's drunk, bruised or crying). I like Ash either kicking ass or just being her normal self (smiling would be good). For reference poses like this, this or this are cool.

Oh, and shots from the love scene would be most welcomed. :)

I just saw the announcement for the extended cut DLC. It left me feeling about the same as when I finished the game. It's going to be free so I'll give it a chance, but if it does nothing more then try and explain the ending we already have I'm done with Bioware.

The entire series is space magic. biotics are space magic, the way asari reproduce is space magic. Shepard spent 2 years dead in ME2 and was revived and everything was as if it never happened. That's space magic.

Space magic doesn't bother me. Stranding the normandy crew somewhere where they'll never see shepard again is just cruel and something I hope they "clarify". It's really my only problem with the ending.

If it's free, I will be satisfied if Ash will be shown to visit my Shepard grave/memorial from time to time, and give the eulogy at the funeral or something.

This new extended ending won't include any voice acting.
