I don't actually hate BW for the endings I did lose respect though

I'm with you. I mean I would still be confused but if a little confusion means a happy ending, I'm game.

From what I can gather, the citadel was FUBARed and the occupants dead. There was something the illustrious Mac Walters posted on Twitter about it. 

Killing off an entire station on Twitter because your story doesn't have closure. My congratulations, Mr. Walters.

I do not know about the relays, but judging on how they went bang? They're probably destroyed.

heh, simple answer to that one. You're doing it wrong. Keep your distance and head up the ramp to the right. Pick them off from there but make sure that you position your squad members to watch your flanks.
