Okay, this is bugging me. I hate how Bioware just made her dangle there. The Ash I know would've booted the thing into oblivion.

Everyone poke Liara on dinosaurs. I can tell that since I don't have saves with Ashley. Although this thread somewhat pushes me into saving her. At least once.

Hmm, strange. My two freshest playthroughs (though occured weeks ago and I'm trying to forget ME3 completely) included Tali and James. I'm pretty sure both poked Liara. Not sure for EDI and Garrus. And, I hope you'll excuse me, but I have zero wishes to replay again. Even for those two minutes. Garrus was in my first playthrough at release day, maybe it was buggy or I missed trigger area, not sure.

It could be relationship dependent or something. It was funny regardless though. And in all honesty, I can't blame you for not replaying. It took this thread and the hope of something at PAX to get me to start another run.

LOL I've never heard this even though I took Ash on both playthroughs. Is there something you have to do to trigger it?

I'm starting to think she would just trick them into thinking it was cured (especially if Wreav was in charge...and depending on her relationship with Wrex) thus securing Salarian and Krogan support and not having to worry about another Krogan rebellion after the reapers are dealt with. Just seems like that's the kind of thought process she'd go with. 

Remember she says you should kill the Rachni queen to avoid another rachni war in ME1 on Noveria...

I like to think tough questions at least keep us thinking about Ashley's psyche, not just her lovely bodily parts

Personally I have never killed the Queen but I remember while playing ME1 I thought that both Ash and Wrex made good points as to why they should be wiped  because  at that stage of the trilogy there is absolutely no proof that the Rachni won't go 'bad' again. The situation with Wrex on Virmire was different because the Krogan on Virmire where definitely going to be an angry hoard on the Reapers side whereas the Krogan in ME3 with Wrex/Eve can potentially be peaceful. Plus I felt like the other main reason Ashley shot Wrex was to protect Shepard, if you're in a showdown with an angry Krogan of course your loyal squad mates will watch out for you. 
I think it's difficult to tell what Ash would do but  I think her personality is more inclined towards renegade choices - she'd probably go along with the Dalatrass and not like it but feel that it was more important to keep the Krogan under control, and I can imagine her picking the Quarians over the Geth and like Anderson going for the destroy ending.
That being said, we've seen that it is possible for Ash to change her views, like if Shep talks to her about her views on aliens which leads to her easing up on her isolationist stance in regards to humanity being involved in the galactic community. Since she's working for the Council in ME3 that obviously changes even if she hasn't been influenced by Shepard's opinion.
I would have liked it if there had been some kind of talk between Shep and Ash about how the Council initially wanted to protect their own home worlds rather than help out Earth and then Ash would say something along the lines about how she once would have felt the same way but that she now like Shep she saw that it was really important to unite the races and defeat the Reapers together.

I'd definitely agree on the geth/quarian problem and what she'd do.

There are a few things still holding me back from saying she'd choose to support the Dalatrass's plan, namely what the Dalatrass represents in this situation: Deception and to some extent cowardice, plus all the political crap. Ash hates that, with the Krogans she at least knows what she's getting.
Second thing is the Krogan ruins, showing that they were once a civilised species, that knew of art. That was an eye opener, it'd show her Krogan aren't simply brutes, not if they fall under the leader ship of Wrex and Eve that is, if it's Wreav...that'd change things. But those ruind must mean something to her and might chage her mind.

So I'm still not quite sure, I do think it'll depend on the situation however, namely who's going to lead the Krogan.

Funny, yes. Relationships? I doubt - no relations with Vega and Talirun occured when I played my kanone-Shepard, a.k.a. Kelly guy.
Plus, according to my SO, she heard that poke from EDI and Tali with her Shep.

I played that game almost 5 times, exactly 5 times more than it's worth, IMHO  Well, naturally 4 (or once, since I finished all other playthroughs right before Marauder H. Shields, out of respect ), other were replays with different team-members or viewing cutscenes with different characters, for example in all of my playthroughs Ashley is dead, so my friends sent me their Sheps, who romanced Ash and Liara, I sent them mine with ME2 romances.

Ow, one of them promised to replay that mission with all characters, just to be sure.


Update: Works on all of companions. You just have to press "V" ("eye") key, when game prompts.
