AShley: I hear singing from the-the bathroom!
Shepard: Ah...I-uh..Oh yeah, I left the radio on!
Ashley: Do you take me for some kind of fool? Eh, you're pathetic, *shouts* WHO  THE HELL ARE YOU HIDING IN THERE?
Shepard: No-one I swear, it's a track of EDI practising a singing voice, she's developing a singing talent you see..
AShley: You sure? Cause it sure sounded a lot more like Trayn-
Traynor: *shouts from under the shower* Is AShley there yet Commander? Cause I'm ready to join the fun *giggles*

I like your points but I think your over analyzing things that are not really important. Every game has think that don't really make sense.

Like in Gears of War, COD, or any war game where the armies are constantly fighting each other but a special group or character you play as is able to decimate the enemy while your entire army couldn't make nearly as much progress as you.

It makes sense for the game but of course it isn't practical

I nearly just died of laughter. I have nothing more to say. 

Traynor was such a tease...my god...a night of fun and games she says. How else was I going to interpret that?

Regarding the immersion points raised, immersion means a different thing to everyone. I'm a MilSim junkie so immersion for me is the sound of sonic cracks as rounds going flying past your head as you patch up a wounded buddy. For others it is tactics, and for others it is appearances. Quite honestly, there's nothing like forgetting you had your speakers on high volume as your squad comes under contact. Sometimes it's nearly enough to make you want to hide under your desk! 

In something like Mass Effect it is different though. Immersion into the story is different to immersion into the environment. I don't find the combat in ME immersive at all, but the story I do. It's an important distinction IMO.

She says she believes in God, I don't think she ever specified a religion.
Frankly this is just my opinion but I fail to see why someone can't be homosexual and still believe in a divine being its just a sexual preference. Does your sexuality determine your eternal divine fate? That's seems ridiculous to me.

Yeah, I'm glad they didn't change that. Would have been a little awkward because it'd be too out of character for her.

Besides, Cortez alone provides enough gay vibes in the game. If they changed Ash, I'd be inclined to think everyone in the galaxy was raging sex fiend or something who couldn't keep their hands off of each other.

I think of Ash as a good old Christian girl.

I didn't make stuff up but yes I did actually exagerate (not on purpose). I understand what your saying, "sex crazed" was the wrong phrase to use, I just saw that word in a previous post and descided to run with it . I'm trying to say that I'm glad Bioware didn't change a fundamental part of Ashleys character just to appeal to some people's desire for another lesbian sex scene, In my eye Ash comes from a really "traditional family" so IMO it would't make sense for her to go for a femshep

Edit: "Good christian girl" I don't think she is that, she kinda isn't just based on the sex with shep w/o being married, but she definetly is an "average American" someone who identifies as religious but isn't overzealous about it. ( average american is only b/c most americans are religious, nothing against europeans)

Being Shepard-sexual doesn't make her straight. Making her lesbian/bi would be way too out of character for me. It wouldn't be the same.
