It's not my first choice of poetry either, but Ashley roles with it..so little choice there  Tennyson has a lot of work that has at least bits appropriate for Ash, but no i'm pretty sure I haven't used that...(yet.)

Poetry is very... "specific", due lack of better words, thing. I'm not expert at western poetry (even on local, probably just not my type of literature), but I wonder, if there were no copyright problems and issues, what they choose for her?

Dictionaries suggest to use "envy" here, but I find it barely adequate or appropriate. Anyway, I always "envied" people who could paint as you do.

Draws, blueprints, schemes, maps, charts. No art, no integrity, just one guddamn utilitarianism.

Painting is something I can't do though  I once really wanted to be a painter, but how to hold a brush is a mystery to me. I really admire painters myself...I guess we oth envy what we can't have or do in this case, right? I can smash pictures together though, which is more like laying out a map than you might think

With Jack its more about her being mad that he slept with someone else.  Granted, she also isn't the typical version of attractive, so it seems weird he'd go for her.

With Miranda it's about him chasing things that aren't real and her, again, being pissed that he slept with someone else.


You don't have to know the person your manis sleeping with to be pissed about it

She says that but she sure doesn't act like it if you bring her on the Geth Dreadnought.

Both her and Tali get a little snippy on the geth dreadnought mission if you've romanced both of them. I want to say tali starts it but I don't remember.

Speaking of Tali I played her loyalty mission on ME2 earlier and I didn't use the paragon option to hug her. My Shepard is a cold-hearted renegade SOB.

However, if it was Ash I don't think I could resist.

Recently got myself full collection of Alistair's works. On English. It was more challenging than two thresher maws on foot in ME1 on insanity, all Hammerhead crap on Insanity and all ME3. Probably on par with beating Kangaxx and Firkraag first time on your own. Without guides. And internet. Back in release date. On slow PC. Or trying to stop Abrams with SVD.
Finished San Andreas (yes, thats book), started Circus.

Good luck with that. FDF had some good tunes IIRC. Not related with ME, but they got some interesting tunes. Just in case.

I'm not sure what term to use instead of painting - "art" was used by them a way too much and into wrong direction, so I prefered to avoid it, "gimping" or "photoshopping" could be offensive and I don't want to offend you in any way since I a) respect you, like your works, c) other stuff.

Simply put: You still can do what I cannot and it is looks great. So, put some nice compliments fitting you here.

By the way, did you ever had thoughts on "smashing" old Ash's bun on top of her new outfit somehow? Outside of rank nonsense (I'd respect chief more than such jump, really) her new hairstyle is one thing that rubs me wrong way. It's fine on board, but on missions? I can ask my SO to change her hairstyle IRL.

And question to everyone: maybe it's wrong thread to ask, but if anyone chose Miranda over Ash and brought Ash to Horizon later - had you any reaction from Ash on Miranda?
Since in my playthroughs Ash is dead, I can only say for Kaidan, and much to my surprise, Kaidan doesn't recognize neither Jacob, nor Miranda, even when I brought them on Horizon in ME2. Kaidan wasn't romanced for obvious reasons.
In those saves my friend sent me (with Ash alive), she doesn't recognized neither Jacob, nor Miranda (although friend told me he brought both of them on Horizon bacn in ME2 too), yet offers some comfort if Miranda is killed on Horizon. He don't have Miranda over Ashley romance, I don't have Ashley at all, and we both have zero wishes to replay ME3. Sorry for inconvenience

It released today (yesterday already) for PC. It "fixes" import (allowing to import, actually), but face is different. Somewhat because of texture, somewhat because of mesh.

And I just quoted Shepard/Bailey first meeting on Citadel. One of few moments I really like. I really waited for Bailey's response "Thanks?" it'd fit better, IMHO.
Also I worned you about possible problems with importing faces since I had minor issues and I tried only one Shep (basically 90% of my Sheps have one face). My SO's femshep look totally out of everything. Some deep fuqup, not just one slider gone sideways.

Yeah, I would have to say Ashley is the one to instigate, but Tali... yikes. That she maintans that offensive with Liara, who's clearly not as abrasive...I don't know, I didn't like seeing that side of any of them, especially since they're friendly otherwise. I want them to be friends.

I don't know what I can say without my obvious bias showing, but...well, with the romances for a femShep, Shepard is the one to pursue. So, a lady Shepard that was with Kaidan can move onto Garrus, and maybe he knew about them, but since she's advancing on him, she's an adult, she must have put it behind, that relationship is in the past and none of Garrus's business or concern. A male Shepard, though...it's hard not to give women in this series the wrong idea. When I played my Ash-faithful dude Shep, Tali made a clumsy yet clear pass at him. Now, maybe it could just be avoided, but I've always wondered if, when applicable, she knows or cares about Ash or Liara. Does she figure those women are off the ship, therefore completely out of the picture? And how are Ash and Liara supposed to react? For all they know, she's had these feelings for a while, waiting for the other girl to screw up?

Also, once inside the dreadnought, there's some banter about how quiet the ship is, and EDI points out Shepard and Tali have been in a physical relationship. I don't know if Ash says this in any case, but she gives an annoyed, "Can we talk about this when we're NOT in a Geth dreadnought!?" And if Shepard left Ash for Tali, it feels like rubbing salt in the wounds.

Of course, it's debatable if ME2 romances can even be counted as cheating, since many might see Horizon as...taking a break. I'd be pissed in Ashley's position, but I can't say I take rejection too well.

Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, especially since that's one of the few banters Ashley is involved in.
