It was like extracting a tooth though with the legions of phantoms.
I appreciate Ash's solution to problems. Fill it full of lead, and if that doesn't work, fill it some more.

This is definitely my favourite moment with Ashley in ME3. I felt like a boss carrying her back to the ship.

I´m level 61 on the 360 and level 197 on the PC.

I'm kinda new here, so welcome everybody. My name is Filip and i came from Poland. Of course i am a Williams fan. Why? Because i just find Ash the most perfect LI for Shepard in the Universe - Liara is too "needy", about Tali [no disrespect for the Tali fans] one of my friends once said that romancing Tali is like romancing an ugly chick with a trashbag on the head and Jack is just too... crazy.
But to the point.
I love her in ME1, understand her in ME2 and in most part of the ME3 i wanted to throw her in the nearest airlock. Bioware just killed her. First of all the lack of interactions - of course there were moments special for her - Earth [mostly one dialogue choice] and Mars and Mars and rest of the game was so annoying because of one thing - Cerberus which is the second case. Like i said i understood her in ME2 but in ME3 she was just crossing the line. I mean for god sake Shepard is killing every Cerberus agent in his way, and all she talks about is "are you sure you are not with Cerberus?" God, woman!
But when we are in hospital, things are good. She says that everything is ok, hell the old Ash is back [i don't know how with others but every time she tells stories about family, i have that weird feeling that i want to hear moar!] and then is the Citadel - and she goes with Cerberus again. I swear to God i wanted to put shoot her immidetaly.
And after her recruitment there is that thing that i like to call "A very big nothing". I mean seriously a couple of one-liners after every priority? Are you kidding me Bioware? Liara got at least 2 or more cutscenes, same with Kaidan and Garrus, and all we get is a Cutscene with her being drunk, one on the Citadel and one date [which was poorly written, but onto that later]? Seriously in my opinion even a romance with Miranda [which was cut to the impossible] was beter showed than Ashley’s.
It just is not right, but also not what I expected. Because what Bioware showed us is this: Earth-Mars[accusing Cerberus]-Hospital[everything ok]-Citadel[another Cerberus accusation]-recruitment[with no “I am sorry” or anything]-Team member[or her being in the observation deck, without any interaction with the crew]-Date[which was mostly nothing]-romance scene. Am I the only one who is seeing a giant massive dialogue and logic hole? Am I the only one who sees the romance scene came out of nowhere without any explanation. I mean even with the Cerberus in the loop it should be: Earth – Mars [Cerberus accusations] – Hospital [in which she knows about the things that he done, showing her that he is the old shepard – Citadel [- Shepard, what are you doing? – Udina is all behind it! – You sure about it? – Yes, the Salarian councilor confirmed it! – Ok, I trust you [of course not that simple dialogue]], and then on the Normandy, there should be at least some cutscenes, where for example Garrus is telling the story about the fight with collectors, how he was just using the resources to fight the agents of the reapers – this is what was bugging me! The point where Ash finally understands that he wasn’t working for terrorists, just using their resources!. And the date was the Ashley’s way to say everything – the whole story, how she felt, and end it with the “We had something” dialogue, and then the romance scene that the writers wrote, would be like a cherry on the cake.
Bioware just killed Ashley Williams. They changed the look, but killed character. Still I like her very much, still she is a perfect LI, but her behavior in me3 was just bad.
