Shepard: *scoffs* No, no. I am never going to be 'O.K'. The only way I'll be even close to 'ok' is when the large Reaper topples at my feet. THAT is the only time I'll ever be close to approaching 'Ok'.

You're right that's true (although I'm not sure Ashley should be on the same level of attention and care  *Ashley: Damn straight I would!*) , it was more that I had wanted to write a birthday fanfic oneshot, so it had been nice to get it out on that day. Guess I should've looked up the date huh?

Write it and release when it is done. I've told there is no such meaning in English, but there is meaning in my language: when something goes from heart and soul, it doesn't matter when it came.
Plus, somehow I think that Shepard and Ash don't care about much BD date and maybe most of other "personal" dates too.

And yes: Ash would cut of Shep from sex if needed, TNS. Sure, it would hurt her too, but it definitely hurts Shepard *g*
