Wow!  Drew's ending is pretty close to my own theory.  When i heard the Harbinger line about "Salvation through destruction" i knew that had some connection to the Dark Energy on Hastrom.

I know! I have that in MP. All my rifles look retarded now. I think I prefered it when they looked like a minature 2A42. :lol:

I think it's Barrett, not 2A42. Plus - why you need muzzle brake on weapon without proppelant gases?

Yeah, that's what I thought of it when I got that version of the extended barrel mod. It pretty is the barrel of Barrett.

I'm not sure for two remaining barrel mods - one is cylindric (not AR-15 style) and another is slot flashhider. I have several versions, but no concrete.

Plus revolver barrel for pistol barrel mod V. Superb. <sarcasm.

Yeah. Plus their idea to divide upgrades is a bit off:
- Why 2X scope only for pistol and SMG? AR 4X scope is redundant for most missions.
- How barrel extension helps something, if pistols are MORE POWERFUL than rifles? WTF is that?
- Why you need barrels, when you could install some internal part, sort of AP mod - adding velocity (to what velocity - hypervlocity by text or 100 m/s in game?Image IPB).
- Why external scopes on rifles already issued with ones - Avenger and Vindicator.
- Ash is cute (and can drill your head 100 metres away), but 40 kg AMR for her is too much. I bet her own weight about 1.6 of that.

You had a perfect story. And then you decided to ... nevermind. Artistic freedom. Right.

Guys: I'll use that as base for my project. The Reapers will get "redeemed" ... and Ash & Shep will live in the end. Stay tuned.

If it was a Spectre DR I wouldn't have minded. Those things are awesome.

And yes, it is a Barrett. It's taken from one of their experimental weapons - the XM109. It's my favorite weapon from their line.

You do not want to be on the recieving end of that thing. Look it up and you'll see why.

I love the irony of sticking it on an M8 Avenger though.

Yeah, but when it was full... i felt so annoyed that i had to randomly delete a few things. every now and again. And im one of those people who NEED to be organised in every department. However i let the Mods and weapons slide. Too big of a task :lol:

Nah, they killed Avenger for me in ME2 - first via horrible spread, second via "upping" barrel. Damn, it was so sexy in ME1...

Too many? C'mon, that's not so hard to sort'em out.
And regarding back to the top of the list - on PC it happens only when you sell lowest item in the list, if second from bottom - it doesn't.

What really was annoying is to recycle to omni-gel every item you receive after serious fight (Virmire run, for instance). That was even more purerImage IPB murder than my daily commute.

Its time consuming still ... and i like to be constructive with my time. Spending 20 mins deleting and selling random mods i dont use... it just didnt appeal to me.

About 2-4 second per item to recycle it to omni-gel or with selling, but generally I used "mothballed teammates" as "emergency storage devices" - giving them mods I wanted to keep. Plus ARO is always there.
And yes, I agree, inventory could be improved. But I better deal with bad inventory other than with bad story.

Rose tinted glasses here but yeah I remember spending 20/30 minutes selling or converting old mods to omnigel.  If you didn't stay on top of it after every mission they could add up but I loved the choice and the way you could tailor any weapon you wanted too.  Always souped up Ash's boomstick with the best mods, stuck a sniper on Garrus and my master spectre pistol as I was a sentinel back in those days Image IPB

I could never use pistols in ME1 for some reason. It felt uncomfortable. It was always the assault rifle or Sniper when specific circumstances presented itself.

funny enough I only ever played biotic classes or infiltrator in ME1. I never really ever used the rifles until ME2, probably why I don't hate the avenger as much as the soldier veterans of ME1 :-)

IIRC ME1 pistol is about twise as powerful in terms of damage per shot, but has slower RoF, so it was fine trade-off for most characters.

I played as Soldier (mostly), Infiltrator (about 20%, IMHO most self-sufficient class in ME1) and Engineer (2 runs for friend who can't beat it on Insanity). That's insanity-wise classes, of course.
In ME2 I didn't get how it is possible to play for non-soldier classes on Insanity for most of the game, enemies got too much defenses to strip them off. Infiltrator was "knife-edge" for me - interesting, but without decent SR most of the game it was quite strange.
ME3 added variety for classes (see, not all bad in ME3 Image IPB), but new weight totally killed soldier - what should I do when I'm out of ammo, concuss banshees to death? Image IPB

Jab taken, damage deflectedImage IPB, but there is nothing to do with soldier veterans. Rising barrel axis is illogical, and giving rifles innate spread is stupid. First shot should always follow PoA=PoI rule, if you want to mimic crosshair sway than just add it (and no sway for uber-heavy Widow). Avenger didn't have it.

It's an optic made by ELCAN that combines the functions of an ACOG wih a red dot.

My loadouts ideally have an accurate rifle coupled with a shotgun. I rarely take anything else.

Nothing quite says get out of my face like a shotgun blast.
