Just two quick thoughts to indulge you guys with:
1) Shepard and Ashley have sex before the Cerberus mission, if Ash survives the events of ME3... You think there was a possibility Shepard could've gotten her pregnant? Is it a feasible idea? Story wise ofcourse, obviously its feasible shepard could get Ash pregnant unless he took one too many kicks in the quad
2) Reminiscing on Mass Effect 1... I honestly think the original plan was to have Ashley/Kaidan as the "co-protagonist" as it were, the role that Liara fills in ME3 and to an extent in ME2. Ashley in particular was on the cover of the first game with sheploo, investigates the Prothean Beacon (with shepard promptly stopping her, using the beacon himself), is part of the integral squad and is part of one of the series-defining moments on Virmire. The theme which plays when she can die is also the love theme. Chances are bioware just re-used it, but for me that love scene with Ash is a million times more powerful than the one with Liara because Ash was so close to death, and the music is a reminder of that.
I think Bioware realized how much of a shame it'd be for the player to miss out on a ton of content just because they killed Kaidan/Ashley, so they gave that content to Liara so that all players would witness it. I'm not saying Ashley would become the shadow broker, but I think orginally she was going to be far more important in the series, but never had that chance since there was a 50/50 chance she'd be killed of, so they made Liara that instead.
Just a question, just checking the Ashley wiki and apparently there was a e-mail she sent talking to her sis about a guy named James that she'd like to date but couldn't due to fraternization.
1) When and where was this e-mail?
2) James... that isn't James Vega is it?
edit: never mind, just found out it was a bioware tech designer, lucky guy
