So I finally finished ME3 this weekend. I made a point to take Ash on as many missions as possible to milk as much dialogue as possible. I must say, mission banter and comments are a lot like Ash of ME1. And of course, outfitted properly, she murders enemies at an astonishing rate.

I must admit, it sucked that she didn't take part in Normandy banter or move around like the other characters. Hell, even Javik moved around, and he's DLC. It really does feel like BioWare didn't know what to do with her anymore after the coup on the Citadel.

Technically, Javik wasn't DLC. He was originally intended to be in-game without having to pay or download anything. Then EAWare decided to milk this game for all of its worth.

Ash's romance felt well paced though, and it's pretty straightforward if she was your LI and you were faithful. It feels like a real couple having real problems but getting over them together by realising what they mean to each other. The love scene to me I think captured exactly the relationship between the two. Taking and giving strength and comfort to each other.

Indeed it was. And that's what I admired about her in-game.

All in all, I'm satisfied by their story arc. ME3 didn't quite nail it like I think we all hoped, but it came pretty darn close. I hope the Extended Cut clarifies all the sticky end points and at least lets us know what happens to Ash, especially if she survives.

Eh, Priority: Earth took a turn for the worst imo (lack of war assets in-game fighting) and it only got worse after Harby's beam knocked you out. But yes, I'm hoping that this Extended Cut will fill in the void Mas Effect 3 created. And I especially hope that these rumors I'm hearing about reuniting with the Normandy crew are going to be true.

Ashley is and always will be worth it.

 

Is there some place where we can buy it from? Here in Sweden there is a shop that's going to start sell Shepard, Tali, Legion, Miranda, Mordin, Garrus, Grunt and Thane figures. They didn't add the Ashley figure yet so I'm not sure they are going to sell Ashley :/.

Nah. Last phrase is different. Non-romanced Ash. "I can imagine. But for what it's worth, you're still you". In romanced variant she says "Screw those Cerberus freaks. Whatever anyone says, you're you."
Rest is same.

My money is, with the hero worship he gets for Elysium, there's really not a lot of room for close relationships. Sure he may have slept around a bit when he was younger, but I don't think he's really had a serious relationship. At least not for a long time come ME1.

I always go for the "feel sorry for me!!" background. XD

Too traumatized  to have a seriouse relationship

My Renegon FShep is my Colonist one. Since I had 3 War Heroes already, I didn't want to do another, so the only psychological profile that went with "Colonist" in my opinion was Ruthless. The batarians massacred her friends and family on Mindoir, so she got a bit of revenge at Torfan. I also RP her with the opinion that the only good batarian is a dead batarian. In ME3, she'll wind up with Samantha.

Right, sorry about that! 

There are 3 variations of the "you're you" line for Ash:

1. "Damn right it doesn't. Whatever anyone says, you're you."
2. "I can imagine. But for what it's worth, you're still you."
3. "Screw those Cerberus freaks. Whatever anyone says, you're you."

That means one is either picked at random each time you play the scene, or as you suggest it is dependant on your relationship with Ashley. I don't know how to tell which it is though sadly. From what I heard though, I think Tali is the only one with a truely discernable one that indicates romance.

Where was I? Ah, yes, kielbasa... Ahem, sorry, got carried away. Liara seems to be a bit less concerned, though show some signs of "being worry".

    Few minutes later
Shepard: what a minute ash.....what are you making.
Ashley: Pancakes ofcourse
Shepard: Jesus woman not agian.
Ashley: if you know whats best john, you wont say another word.
Shepard Leaves Kitchen and comes back in another 10 minutes
Shepard: Ash, where is the pancakes
Ashely: I ate them ofcourse
