I agree, this might be where helmet toggle comes in, especially with femsheps with the shoulder length hair. Toggle the helmets on and the hair gets stuffed in there....then we get helmet haired Ash.

and to answer the Ashley question:

I'm not really sure... I really like how she was in that story PMC wrote last night... how she was struggling with how to talk to him after the two years and the small smile and touch on the arm, looking into his eyes. That could definitely say how she felt about Shepard.

As for telling what she had been doing... before she talked about her feelings and stuff, I think she'd start out by telling some exciting missions or experiences she had before getting into that.

I'd think Ashley would have had a blast being on her own, under someone elses command, leading her own team. Especially the third option because she could put herself in Shepard's shoes and possibly make some tough decisions.
