Good to be back. Wow, 1110 pages! I don't know why I haven't been around. Busy I guess. But I miss the Ash thread. Working on a new chapter for fan fic, but what's new everyone?

Really liking some of the dialouge I've been seeing posted on here. The pancakes things is making me laugh.

Actually avoided the forums to keep away from spoilers until I finished ME3. Now I'm more or less here to ease the pain.

Was disappointed with Ashley romance. She was too cold from the beginning up until the kiss at the end. And she acted like she never sent you that ME2 email saying she was sorry on Horizon.

My Shepherd was also loyal to her. Big disappointment.

My Renegade Shepherd romanced Miranda, and she was far better than Ashley.

I loved the Ashley romance. She didn't seem cold to me - she just seemed conflicted. Which just made me respect her more, given the people who Shepard worked with in the last game.

Honestly, one of the things I like so much about Ash is that while it seems like she wants Shepard in her life, she doesn't *need* him in her life and is unafraid to think for herself and question his motives.

My only problem with Ash in ME3 is that there wasn't more dialouge when she was back on the Normandy. There were a lot of ideas they could have gone with - I, for one, think she would have faced some issues reintegrating with the squad, which is why I always told myself she spent all that time in the lounge. That could have been addressed, but wasn't, and just feels like a lost opportunity.

I've mentioned in other places in the forums that I've basically mentally re-written the ME3 ending, so that Ash and Shep are together in that house on Intai'sei. At least for the time immediately after ME3, while Shepard recovers from his wounds.

That's more or less the image I want to hold on to. Some of the dialouge here works with that.

i feel to compeltley disagree with you on that, sure it wasn't the best. But i still belive it was done very well. unlike some romance, her's kind of feels real.
