You know, it occurs to me that their kids would be under a great deal of pressure.

Talk about high expectations: "Both of your parents were Spectres who played a pivitol role in stopping the Reaper invasion. What are YOU going to do with YOUR life?"

I imagine any kid born of Shepard and Ash would naturally punch out a few teeth from any person who said that to them.

Kid!Shepard-Williams: Thought I'd start with that... what do you think?

Yeah. I don't think I could play as that Shepard. Poor guy looks like he just fell off the Iowa farm truck.

Williams-Shepard!kid 1: Name's Staff Lieutenant Kaidan Shepard - my kid sister, Staff Lieutenant Hannah Williams.
Williams-Shepard!kid 2: We're gonna kick ass, and we're gonna look good doing it.
Ashley: *pokes head around the corner.* Are you two playing dress-up again?
Kids: No, mama.
Ashley: Good. Cause you both know you can't join the core for another ten years.
Kids: We know mama.
Ashley: ... good. Now get over here, we're having chocolate cake for dessert. And I need someone to help me wake up Daddy.
Kids: Whoohoo!

I could see any Ash-Shepard kids being politicans rather than military people, I don't know why I just think their parents would be wanting their children to not have to go through the same that they did but instead be involved with peace keeping...again I don't know but some positon high in the Alliance or a human councillor

Maybe it just me, but most kids in military families I know, went way they wanted, not their parents wanted for them. Of course, there were some exceptions, but generally parents just give advices, recommendations, but not ultimatums, nor they've made decisions for their kids.
Yet somehow part of me thinks that after seeing politics so up close Shelliams-Wipard wouldn't let their offsprings go in politics, even knowing what right man in right place can do.

Maybe you're right I don't know I just felt like maybe by the time kids were thought of between the 2 they'd maybe have been out of the public limelight long enough that they wouldn't feel the pressure to join the military. But then again great military personnel do seem to continue having kids that go into the military, in RL anyway

But who cares about RL when the last month of my life has been obsessed with the virtual life of some people in a game

There is one thin line. Very blurry one. Yet very interesting, and, by my humble opinion - very important one. It has been told in ME2-3 and it is one of things I actually like: fathers and children. Mostly Tali and Tarquin (TT, hmm, it seems gun-nut is diagnoseImage IPB). TL;DR - should children be judged by actions of their parents our they should be judged on their own? We broke enough lances discussing that question here with my "peers", so I won't begin it here - it is very long and exhaustive discussion.
Strangely enough Spacer Shepard's story isn't developed and I think it could be interesting to look at.

Nah, I've beat ME3 5 times in couple of weeks after release and didn't touch it since. With exception of "Face-fixing patch" check and recent romance/non-romance Ashley on Cronos.

I GOT IT! If Ashley were to retire and get a civilian job, what job could you see here doing. (like how I said I could see shepard as a teacher) but now its with Ashley. I honestly don't know atm, maybe i comes up with one.

Modeling new military armor and/or fatigues?

Adm. Hackett: I don't understand it. I thought people would want to get back to their lives now that the Reapers are defeated, but recruitment is higher than ever!

Was thinking about how someone said how hard it would be on their kids, since people would expect much out of them for what their parents have done. And once in teenage years, how teenagers always rebel against there parents, they would rebel even more, wanting to do things on there own.

I think the big risk would be for everyone to place too many expectations on them. Look what happened to the Primarch's son.

Just because Ash and Shep were good soldiers doesn't mean their kids are meant to save the world, or even go into the military.
