It seems to me that the other characters have a writer that cares about them, and Ashley doesn't. It's not a fault of the character, but that's just how it happened to play out. The "added sex appeal" while in itself isn't so bad, is just evidence they didn't know what to do with her character so they glam'd her up. These two clips kind of made me realize how much they don't understand her character.
(she does have another death dialogue but she would never say this to any shepard, ever)
(this one again is just childish. Not Ashley like at all)
Depends. Must say the "see you in hell" line makes sense - if you betrayed Ashley. Not visiting her means she feels betrayed and if anyone or Shepard shots her since she can't get convinced, she'll feel betrayed for sure.
It's a bitter, dying Ashley here. Makes sense to me.
Not sure about that second vid. It doesn't make sense if Ash refers to Tali as a "little sister". B*tching around is not helping to support that idea.
However, I concur, Ashley's writer had no real idea what to do with her. He should have checked out our thread to get an idea. Nope ... instead of, we just got a romance which was well done but no content at all. ME3!Ashley - Romance = no character.
Ash worked fine in ME1 without her romance.
