Love is like peace.
Sometimes you need to fight,
and prepare for war,
to maintain peace.
You need to fight for your love,
prepare to lose her,
but in the end,
you might win her heart forever.
- John Shepard - scrapped poem for Ashley Williams.
-- Edit
Still think Erica Cerra is a good idea, but I also like Michelle Rodriguez. They look close enough and are experienced with similar roles.
But if you can get an actress with incredible skills PLUS lookalike PLUS being an Ash fan:
Best. F*cking. Choice!

Yea I wonder if any of our current Ash fans on here are actually actresses who also look like her? That'd be a turn up for the books

For me it's more a "turn on" to get a date with that actress.
Not that I had a chance.
But the priiiize!

^ mind to write some dialogues displaying sisterly Ash/Shepard banter?
That's gonna completely ruin my image of Ash and male Shepard as lovers, lol but it'd be a cool alternative
It's fun to see ones fav-characters from a different view. Mind you, I don't dare to do anything before I'm actually playing ME3, so I can get a feeling for Ash again. Currently I just know how my FemShep feels. Am also pretty bad at writing so it will probably end with you guys beating me with the boomstick because Ash is OOC
Promise to do my best at least.

As soon as i posted this Adieu by Enter Shikari came on my itunes so now all I need is a depressing CptData journal entry about waiting for Shepard to save them all and I'll be officialy depressed

Anyway, I'll just leave these right here:

and

I've also got some fan-fictions in the works that I'm hoping to share with y'all! I know you guys like that stuff around here.
Also, some fun headcanon stuff of the future, featuring Ash and John's son, Kaidan.
Anyway, after the turn on/off campaign, I'm thinking of taking a break from the ME3-ending battlefront and crashing here for awhile. Guys got room for another loyal Ashmancer?

When will be update of Ashley's Dialogue Group?
As soon as some ppl are posting there again. I could do it ... but ... nah. Too lazy to copy 1000 dialogues from this thread
Besides that, my brain's dry. I just scrapped three dialogues

A couple more:

I can't help but rip off Casablanca with this picture.
"Whatever happens, Ashley, I want you to know that we will always have Ilos." In response, Ash lowers her head, tears forming in her eyes. John takes this opportunity to place a reassuring hand under her chin, raising it so that their eyes meet. "Now, now..." said John, "Here's looking at you, Chief."
And one more that happened completely by accident:

^ Obviously, someone just told a corny joke!

@ExorioN; Well, it was created because the Ash thread was rather flooded with dialogue at one point, and not everyone was a fan of that. So...I guess we don't know, when there are enough people willing to write to make it viable maybe?

Ashley: Hey ... remember the "good ol' times" - as Garrus would say?
Shepard: Yeah.
Ashley: You saved me on Eden Prime. That's been three years now since we met. You ... looked different. It's in your eyes ...
Shepard: I'm fine, Ash - and yes, I remember our first meeting ... your first words - spoken by a brave soldier, the last one of her unit.
Ashley: You picked me up and dragged me right into your world ... from one nightmare into a dream - and then ... you died, threw me into a nightmare that's still lasting for two years now.
Shepard: I'm sorry, Ash - if I could-
Ashley: It's okay. Skip ... just make sure we get through all this. Just one more time.
Shepard: As long as you're on my side, I'll make sure we have a future.
Ashley: That's what I wanted to hear. And ... make it quick. The longer this war lasts, the more you age. Every day carves deeply in your skin and slowly kills the fire in your eyes ...
Currently the dialogues & snippets keep this thread alive ...Mr. Brainheart wrote...

Lol, it's the complexion. I don't like the first one because my Shepard's face always turns out wrong for some reason (I also think it looks too clean and boyish). I like it, though! He kind of looks like an 80's action hero! XDCptData wrote...
^ your Shepard looks older than 30 Guess war leaves its marks ...
Also, yeah. He has a lot of mental scarring that might show on his face. His family getting killed on Mindoir, the Skyllian Blitz, and then the Reapers. It all takes its toll. He confesses the ghosts following him to Ash at one point (a dialogue I've been working on) and how she helps him to forget all of that. Ash is his one bright spot in his life! I'm glad that Bioware included a lot of dialogues that say, "I can't do this without you, Ashley." Fits my headcanon perfectly!

This may have been suggested before, but what I think would be cool is if everyone who is interested would collaborate to make an awsome fanfic with numerous contributing authors, maybe use google docs to do it? IDK sounds like a cool idea to me.
Edit: Am I the only one who uses the default shep?
Good idea, and not at all, I use default too!
My Shep is a bit of a sob story too. Earthborn who has no parents and was never truly loved. Fortunately for him, that changed after Eden Prime!

And I like the idea. The -greatest- idea is to write down the romance for Shep & Ashley from ME1 to ME3 by using a "common Ashleymancer headcanon" ^^

I have a default Shepard (Michael) which is NOT my canon playthrough but my ONLY playthrough that saw the ending of ME3. I can't force myself to do another run with Jacob Shepard - which is my canon dude and doesn't use Wanderloo's face.

Maybe we should throw some ideas around..What do you mean when writing down Shepley from ME1 to ME3, rewriting in a strict sense? Or adding to it, with completely new stuff? and filling in gaps and unanswered questions?

Regardless, the point of the effort would be a community one, so I think that if we all contribute then we all should have a say in what it would be about. Also, I think that a "strict" telling of a story would mean that any interactions that are put into any story we make would have to conform to BWs story arc. I prupose that any story that comes from this have the Sheply relatioship take its full form before Bws timeline IE: before Ilos

Stay true to canon.
And fill the gaps with stuff we love(d) to see. I think ME1 is pretty much perfect - and we did a hell of additional stuff for the time before ME2 already
I definitely want to see more stuff for ME2 and, of course, filling the Normandy-sized gaps for Ashley in ME3.
And beyond?
Something like that.
Dunno if it's even possible to do such huge project - it's going to be massive.
First step should be to establish a "common headcanon" we can use as base - mostly what primary decision should Shep do. And of course: what traits have Shepard and Ashley we wanted to see in the series but never saw? Like Ashley's addiction for caffeine - or her love for ancient SciFi-movies from 20th/21st century ...
