Still think Erica Cerra is a good idea, but I also like Michelle Rodriguez. They look close enough and are experienced with similar roles.

Yea I wonder if any of our current Ash fans on here are actually actresses who also look like her? That'd be a turn up for the books

It's fun to see ones fav-characters from a different view. Mind you, I don't dare to do anything before I'm actually playing ME3, so I can get a feeling for Ash again. Currently I just know how my FemShep feels. Am also pretty bad at writing so it will probably end with you guys beating me with the boomstick because Ash is OOC

Hey all! Just dropping by to spread my love for Ashes! Took some epic snaps of her and my main Shepard, John, after I finally was able to import his face correctly. Tried re-making it in the CC when the game first came out, but it never looked right.

Lol, it's the complexion. I don't like the first one because my Shepard's face always turns out wrong for some reason (I also think it looks too clean and boyish). I like it, though! He kind of looks like an 80's action hero! XD

Also, yeah. He has a lot of mental scarring that might show on his face. His family getting killed on Mindoir, the Skyllian Blitz, and then the Reapers. It all takes its toll. He confesses the ghosts following him to Ash at one point (a dialogue I've been working on) and how she helps him to forget all of that. Ash is his one bright spot in his life! I'm glad that Bioware included a lot of dialogues that say, "I can't do this without you, Ashley." Fits my headcanon perfectly!

This may have been suggested before, but what I think would be cool is if everyone who is interested would collaborate to make an awsome fanfic with numerous contributing authors, maybe use google docs to do it? IDK sounds like a cool idea to me.

Edit: Am I the only one who uses the default shep?

Good idea, and not at all, I use default too! 

My Shep is a bit of a sob story too. Earthborn who has no parents and was never truly loved. Fortunately for him, that changed after Eden Prime!

Yea I have the default one too, I didn't realise when i started you could edit them but the default has grown so much on me if I tried to change it I'd ruin it completly

Maybe we should throw some ideas around..What do you mean when writing down Shepley from ME1 to ME3, rewriting in a strict sense? Or adding to it, with completely new stuff? and filling in gaps and unanswered questions?

Don't let this thread die. We need all the Ash supporters. I'm trying to do my heart. I was inspired by you guys and began writing my own fanfic (mostly about Ash). There are 10 chapters up. http://www.fanfictio.../New_Beginnings

My favorite parts of any fanfic are the ones that expand on the "downtime" in between missions, especially for ME1. So if you guys share that opinion maybe that would be the focus? To be honest I would prefer something to do with the realatioship in ME1 as it takes its shape, from the beginning. Maybe do something with the ME3 story, write about that while it's fresh in our minds?
Regardless, the point of the effort would be a community one, so I think that if we all contribute then we all should have a say in what it would be about. Also, I think that a "strict" telling of a story would mean that any interactions that are put into any story we make would have to conform to BWs story arc. I prupose that any story that comes from this have the Sheply relatioship take its full form before Bws timeline IE: before Ilos

The fanfic sounds like an awesome idea. I'm kind of dead in the water right now with my own. About 6,000 words or so into a new chapter but I don't know to end it yet I have a million other ideas for future chapters that I have no clue how to fit in. lol

Stay true to canon.
And fill the gaps with stuff we love(d) to see. I think ME1 is pretty much perfect - and we did a hell of additional stuff for the time before ME2 already
I definitely want to see more stuff for ME2 and, of course, filling the Normandy-sized gaps for Ashley in ME3.

And beyond?

Something like that.

Dunno if it's even possible to do such huge project - it's going to be massive.
First step should be to establish a "common headcanon" we can use as base - mostly what primary decision should Shep do. And of course: what traits have Shepard and Ashley we wanted to see in the series but never saw? Like Ashley's addiction for caffeine - or her love for ancient SciFi-movies from 20th/21st century ...
